Excellent appraisal, once again. Dear Dr's, Once Muslims abandoned the Quran and started putting much more attention to hadith, that is when the Ummah went into rapid decline. The Golden Age of Islam that produced 100s of Muslim and Muslimah scholars/ Scientists/ Inventors/ Explorers and Engineers was a time that the majority of Muslims today can only marvel at! Sadly Muslims are content to pray, to fast, to do Hajj BUT we have forgotten our past. The Quran has over 600 verses on a diverse range of Scientific topics. Yet it is not a Book of Science. SUBHAAN ALLAH. When verses appear to contradict Science, then we must assume that our Science is wrong, OR that the verse is Muttashabiat/ Allegorical, such as the Sun setting in a muddy spring. It is very, very,very sad, that Nobel prize winners tend to be Jewish! A very small nation, however, they produce the world's Nobel Prize winners and a load of Scientific literature. Where are the present day Al-Khwaizmi, Ibn Haitim, Ibn Sinna, Al-Razi , Ibn Rushd, Al-Batani. Ibn Battuta, Omar khayyam, Al-Farabi.... the list goes on and on and on!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This is such a basic concept in Islamic studies It's embarrassing that two doctors don't know this. Assalamu alaykum Dr. Ally. The hadith about the Sun goes to make sajdah under the Throne of Allah is not problematic at all in my view. First we need to understand what is the throne of Allah and what how the Sun prostrates to it. In Quran Allah says the Sun and Moon prostrates. The moon orbits the Earth, therefore it prostrates to the Earth. The Sun orbits the black hole in the middle of the galaxy, therefore it prostrates to that black hole. Since the Sun goes down every second on part of the Earth, then it is always prostrating to the black hole in the center of the galaxy. The movement of the Sun is directly related to the black hole and influenced by it. Therefore, the black hole could be connected to the throne of Allah in a way that we do not understand. But this explanation of the Hadith proves complete understanding of the prophet of the cosmos and how he choses a certain way to say it so people of the time will not object to it. Dr. Shabir, would you comment please on this idea? Thank you.

How do you know that it is a nonsense. Maybe you are trying your best to discredit the Hadith. You do not have what it takes to understand the Hadith.@@8647-ux6yx
@AbdallaKab Жыл бұрын
I might have made a mistake by saying the moon prostrate to the Earth. Since the Quran mentioned that the Najm and the Shajar (trees) prostrates. Sorry for this mistake. Who told you that the Throne is part of the unseen? We do not know exactly what is inside of black hole, this is part of the unseen as well. All of our knowledge is theory at this point. Remember you prostrate towards qabah, as this is your kublah. This does not mean that you worship kabah. The Sun prostrates toward the black hole as this is it's qublah. We muslims need to be open minded and try to find the real meanings of what Allah left for us of those scientific verses and Hadiths. Those has been left for us for a reason. Discovering the true meanings of it will put us on a tremendous level.@@hm4084
@AbdallaKab Жыл бұрын
Do you prostrate to Kaabah or to Allah? We prostrate towards Kaabah because Allah ordered us to do so. We make tawaf around Kaabah as well. Similarly the Sun orbits the blackhole Sagittarius A that is located in the middle of the Milky way Galaxy, I'm assuming that the hadith told us that it prostrates towards it in a way that we do not understand but Allah accepts it from it. It follows the Black hole's influence on it by staying in this orbit for billions of years. I made an assumption that the black hole in the subject is under Allah's throne, and if this assumption explains the hadith, then this assumption can be valid and you cannot simply reject it unless you can prove it not fitting by a hadith or Quran. @@hm4084
@AbdallaKab Жыл бұрын
Not sure I'm following you on this one. I presented an explanation for the Hadith that does not contradict the Quran and Sunnah. You rejected it without any real reason. You presented opinion. I can accept it as your opinion, but you have no definite answer. You have a) not presented a plausible reference. I do not have to. This is an opinion that explains a problematic Hadith and makes it clear. I'm surprised that you are rejecting it out right. Until you get me a better explanation, then I will drop this one. b) not identified the black hole. I did that 5 times already. I'm not sure you are reading. c) not supported your presumption that the circular motion is synonymous with prostration. I said circular motion and then prostration, similar to the people's tawaf and prayers at Kaabah. I said we don't understand the prostration of the Sun, but that is only a hint to us. Mind you that we make tawaf in the same direction as the Sun circles the galaxy. d) There is not even sufficient science to explain what black-holes are away from religion and faith. Agreed, but what this has to do with anything? No one in their right mind can give such a postulation any credibility until plausible evidence can be presented. Then you give me different explanation to this hadith. You have none. In 10 years I might see you repeating my explanations to people. Thank you for the conversation. @@hm4084

@AbdallaKab Жыл бұрын
Jannath is where Allah located it, I happen to think it is in a parallel universe. What India landing a probe on the moon has anything to do with the validity of Quran in comparison to Science? Where in Quran Allah said you cannot land a probe on the moon. But Allah said in the Quran, that we cannot leave the boundaries of the 7 skies and the Earth. There are a lot of debate about this boundary. I happen to think that this boundary is within the OORT cloud on the edges of the Solar system. Therefore, when human beings crosses this limit physically and with probes, then talk to me about the validity of Quran. There are a lot of doubts that humans physically crossed the Van Allen radiation belt that surrounds the Earth to begin with. If you want to talk about the Apollo trips, I will say please research it first and I will add no more. Nevertheless, Quran verse that talks about the boundary of the heavens and Earth lump it together as one boundary, therefore, I'm talking about the boundary of the whole solar system together. I think the 7 heavens mentioned in Quran are the Seven planets in the Solar system other than Earth. What a coincidence? Finally, BIG YES, we are believers.
