well this was awesome. I was having the crappiest morning, and this came up, so I decided to leave stuff alone for a while and listen to this. And some of the stuff actually worked itself out, and yeah, were not even problems really. it's really great to have Ajahn Brahm back.

Thank you so much for the efforts to bring these talks to those who are unable to attend. It is greatly appreciated! I live in a very non Buddhist society, and it is a great blessing for me that I am able to here the dahmma even though I am unable to be at shamal oak in person. So thanks to all who work to bring the world these videos.

I live in the state of Utah in the united states. Utah is a Mormon society. I was born into a highly Mormon family, for a time I exercised faith in the Mormon religion, I even served a two year Mormon mission. This is just about the equivalent of being a Mormon monk. But as I learned more about the Mormonism, I began to see many things that harm people. I eventually found Buddhism, and my spirituality I thought I had lost was regained. Buddhism even helped me find peace with Mormonism, I am able to see the jewels in Mormonism and let go of the not so beautiful practices such as the church considering me unworthy to practice in Mormon temple ceremonies because I don't confess to believe the Mormon church to be the only true church, and that salvation is only found through the church. but there are beautiful teachings I do see in the book of Mormon and other Mormon books such as losing the spirit by harming a spider. but Utah is a very judgmental place. where the Mormon church is everywhere. there is literally a Mormon church every 3 or 4 blocks or so. Buddhism offered me a way to make peace with myself and others. practice the beautiful parts of the religion with my family without there being any conflict. BSWA allowed me to here dhamma every day when it is very difficult to come by here. thank you :)

Great Quality! Happy to have this service! Don't know why some choose to put destructive comments! If you can't connect with AB messages just move on. For me this man-monk is very wise and if you practice the precepts it works!

In brief, it says "I bow in respect to the Fully Enlightened One (the Buddha); I bow in respect to the Dhamma that the Buddha taught; I bow in respect to the Sangha, the noble disciples of the Buddha", which three entities are also known as the three refuges for beings. Hope this helps.
