Hello Sir, I am a PhD Scholar and working on vegetable seedlings transplanter. I have simulated a working model in Creo and it is working good when fabricated. It has a extractor for pulling out the seedlings from tray automatically. Also I am able to workout it's velocities, acceleration. But that is not enough for me. I want it to be supported by the equations. I have a research paper entitled-Design and test of combined pick up device for automatic and precision transplanting of vegetable plug seedlings. U can google the paper to understand. In the similar way I want to learn formation of equations. Will you please help me?.

Other quadrants are fine. I cannot see how you can get a complex results because the equation for uses x^2 which will always be positive. q1 is computed using which cannot give a complex result.
