In response to other comments, YES there is such thing as a good gravel road. I like riding my road bike on gravel roads, and a well-maintained gravel road (i.e. level with a good layer of surface dirt over a gravel and dirt base), is silky smooth and much, much, much better than a crappy paved road. The best thing is that a good dirt road is (depending on climate) easy and cheap to make: in the in the spring dump a little gravel in low spots, run a grader over the rough patches, wait a week for traffic to compact everything, and enjoy. Compare that with a paved road, which gets repaved every decade or two and develops potholes and cracks (that are often poorly repaired) in the meantime. Granted, gravel roads can't hold up to heavy traffic, and really dry climates can turn gravel roads to dust, but in many rural areas, dirt roads make much more sense than paved roads.

A few years ago I was visiting my snowbird folks in Yuma AZ for Christmas and we went up to Picacho Peak one day. It was a great trip, except for the washboard gravel roads we traveled. They were fearsome, especially since my stepdad had the tires on the truck inflated to the max for mileage. I swear they shook my guts loose. There was a goldmine in the area so bug trucks traveled the roads and they didnt grade them often enough. It made a hell out of what should have been a beautiful day...

Thanks for your video. If you have not done so already, make Jesus the Lord and Saviour of your life. Study the KJV Bible to know more. Do it now. Tomorrow is not promised.

The KJV replaced God's name with titles such as "Lord" and "God". No thanks. You don't remove the authors own name from his book!
