I guess we are the luckiest campers ever. We have a Class C Lazy Daze motorhome that was built and purchased by us in 2001. It’s still going strong 22 years later, with zero issues, then or now. This is our first and only RV.

I keep a collapsible stool in the bathroom to use to reach the push button o the exhaust fan. Short struggles! At least I can see my whole upper body in the mirror. Last camper could omly see my forehead and up.

Good video! Food for thought! Put a silicone door stopper where the door handle would bump into the wall really surprised that the vent doesn't have a cover. I personally hope you show them the little things & maybe they will make adjustments in the future. !

I had a problem in my linen closet where the bathroom door made a hold by slamming into the wall. I got a disc on amazon and glued it on the hole so my door hits the disc instead of the wall. I also put sliders on all my furniture so I can slide it around as much as I want. Buying a new home is a challenge. Luckily I had a 2 year warranty so they fixed all my problems and trust me there were a lot!

Get some white lithium grease for the door hinges. Pull each pin individually, grease it, put back, on to the next one. It’s not messy, holds up well.

I think it is very common to see the plastic walls in the shower where they don’t put enough plastic rivets in the walls? We looked at and actually purchased an open range 20 FBS, There were so many obvious faults when we did a walkthrough, that we declined to accept it. I wanted that camper because of length, weight, price, but didn’t want to start off with that many issues. We figured if it was that much OBVIOUSLY WRONG, how many quality issues were there we couldn’t see? We’ve had a few minor hiccups with our Jayco, but A& L rv in Richmond was phenomenal in getting authorized to repair, parts received in a week or less, repairs in a week or less. One repair was a new slide seal and adjustments to make the slide close properly. Excellent videos, enjoy your channel.

Y'all did it the right way. Pick it up from the manufacturer, go camping, then return it to them for repairs. We bought our RLS30 from a dealer, went camping for 5 days. The water heater didn't work on electricity, the shower Flooded the bathroom, the plumbing from the shower flooded the basement area and the black tank was cracked. Took it back to the dealer and we got it back 3 months later, haven't used it yet.

After five RV’s when are GD Reflection hit the lot, our sales rep called us to come inspect it before we signed the next day. My wife brought her own blue tape 😂. Luckily like yours there were just a few issues that most new RVers wouldn’t notice. Our sales person knows how picky we are and notice everything like you two. Love seeing your Alliance process, because in a few years we will be trading our 2021 Imagine TT and 2022 Reflection FW and may go with Alliance this time.

I’ve had a couple of weird issues with my black/grey tanks. First it wouldn’t dump, then next time it dumped with the valve closed, leaking sewage out. I took it in twice, they tested it all, couldn’t replicate my issues. I need to get back out and test everything before we camp again soon. We also added the backup camera and it supposed to be pre wired for it, but the plug was never installed. The RV dealer fixed it for me. One other minor fluke issue that almost certainly nobody would catch, even with inspection. When we plugged the phone into the USB port in the kitchen, the lights would flash on the stove knobs. It was a grounding issue, fixed right away. No leaks, all water and drains work, etc. Now if I can just get this back/fibromyalgia pain to subside, then I could enjoy camping again. Sorry about your back issues. That is weird with the tank dumps. Do you have manual or electric dumps? As far as the backup camera, we aren't using that since I installed the Ford backup camera which has its own wiring. My understanding though is that they just run a wire for power but it doesn't have a specific connector that way you can use any aftermarket backup camera you want.

We had a maxair în our old bathroom and honestly, we never used all the features. The bathroom vent fan is just to get rid of the steam from shower (and smells for going to bathroom). Personally, I don't think you need a powerful fan in there. If it was a fan in the living space or bedroom (in place of an AC) I think a MaxAir is a must

@@2KrazyKampers Well, we boondock almost exclusively. While we can run the ac for quite a few hours on solar and battery, the maxair is great at keeping the camper cool as it sucks air from the bedroom windows.

I think they all need a max air or equivalent exhaust fan. We bought a Jayco 263 RBS and per Josh the rv Nerd, it had a DOLLAR STORE FART FAN, LOL. I replaced our cheap fan right away and love the vents that can be opened in the rain. Honestly, I think each large camper needs 2 vent fans, that may be sufficient for moderate weather, especially if you were not on shore power, you could still be cool enough and not have to run the AC off batteries. I know they have to draw the line on cost, but the cheap fan was worthless.

In our old RV, which was a Grand Design, they had the cheap "fart fans" in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. We replaced the bedroom and bathroom with Max Air fans. In this RV, we have two AC's so there is no place to put another fan. Personally, I would not want another hole in the ceiling for the fan. We may eventually upgrade the bathroom fan. but I doubt it will be a Max Air since it's a small space and the bathroom door is always closed. So far, the one in there is doing a great job . It just needed the vent cover so we can have it open in the rain.

Did they not use 5/8 plywood for the subfloor? A foam sandwich floor will deform under point loads like you pointed out.

The floor is not foam, it is azdel. The deformation was in the laminate itself, not the floor. It bounced back the next day

From everything we have learned by talking to Alliance owners and from interviewing the owners of Alliance and other people, it is much better than other manufacturers. They try to go above and beyond, even warranting items when rigs are out of warranty

The system of piece work used in production where the employees are judged on how fast they can turn around production leads to so many faults. Piece work performance plus poor engineering just leave too much room for errors to happen. Then the dealers push their techs to using flat rate as weapon makes the perfect recipe for unhappy rv owners. You can’t make this up!

As we said, under normal circumstances, we would have fixed it but we made arrangements with Alliance to bring it back to them while we were in Elkhart.

It was an indentation in the vinyl floor itself, not the subfloor. The indentation did go away
