Can't say I'll get a phone from them again. The sound is amazing and of course it can run any game but the absolute worst of it is the charging problems. If it can't charge then no dice. Currently on 35% and it will not charge. It'll be dead soon. I'll have to get a wireless tomorrow and try it with that. The dongle stopped working not too long after I got it and now this. I haven't even finished paying for it. Not worth it.

This is my sad story, I loved it for about 3 months then it's been a terrible story. The dongle stopped working after about a month, water touched my phone and the speakers were gone which apparently voids the warranty cause it's not water proof but it's supposed to be great in water resistant, isn't it? Well that's not all, after a month or so the charging port started giving me trouble, first not charging I thought was the cable so I changed it and no it wasn't, after trying different chargers I came to find out that it was the port, It only works in one position, the c type charging port it's supposed to work either side it's introduced well not this one and to make it worse it's getting to the point where it's not going to work at all, there's no way to buy parts and they won't replace it it's been just sad

Yes. You're 100% right. I've been facing same issues with the phone and razer has some serious quality issues. Wonder why razer is not working on new phone anymore. Guess it's not their line of work

I regard buying that phone I've had it for a year and it hardly charges and the speakers are blown already. I had to factory reset this phone twice don't buy a razor phone haha.

When I was using it, I ditched it's main camera app and started using Google Camera. You can download the modded Google camera app from XDA Developers and make your life easier :p

Sounds like you either got a bad phone or just need to do a factory reset if not because this phone runs anything you throw at it with no problem whatsoever. If you can't even get PUBG to run properly then your shit is broke af

Problems: - Some parts are very easy to be broken like the charger port - Big bezel covers screen a little bit - Expensive/ Pricey Pros: - Heat is stable while playing heavy games - Using snapdragon 845 - Beautiful LED light in the back - Do not lag while playing some heavy games Edit: I just realize this phone price in my country which is $500 has the same price as the laptop that i wanted to buy for gaming

Forget about Razer phone 3 Live in the UK Had my razer phone 2 since July 2019 with a contract from Three it lasted until this year with a few bugs but nothing major the main one was the fingerprint scanner not working. This got replaced a few months back as Three had some in stock and now this one crashes and goes to a random black screen and I have to always hard reset. Very annoying I contacted Three again to get another but they don't have any left as this phone is discontinued and Three don't do them anymore. I am now getting a Samsung note 9 and have to kiss goodbye to this what could of been a masterpiece of a phone. I will miss this phone as I really liked it and didn't even want to upgrade because I loved it that much and am a die hard razer fan. Maybe razer should just stick to PC technology. I heard the note 9 is good. (I can only get a replacement from that time period late 2018) But I am sad as I have no choice to but to give up this phone I loved through so many years.

My RP1 got poor wifi connectivity as well as poor LTE speed. Using the same sim at the same location... My iphone 7 performs better with regards Wifi and LTE speeds (RP1: 25mbps vs iP7: 65mbps)... I am not sure if its just my RP1

I had similar experiences with my Razer Phone 1 as well, multiple hardware failures.... I guess that was their first phone so they didn't have high hopes.. But Razer Phone 2 shouldn't be an issue. Luckily I got a firmware update yesterday! Updated to security patch of October.

@@ZeeForceGaming I want to upgrade to RP2 due to its IP rating... but I am afraid that I will get the same poor wifi/lte experience and might not maximize my online mobile gaming experience. Also updated my RP1.. but the stuck camera wont start. Workaround is to turn off do not disturb in order to use the stuck camera app.

The Razer phone 3 will most probably come out. But a little later than expected (because of 5g) It is most probably expected to come out in the fall of 2020. But I heard in an article that Razer is going to update the first phone's software to Android 9 pie and that makes me think that Razer still cares about their past phones and I'm quite confident that we will be getting an Android q update for the rzr 2 quite soon. But I do think a new design wont come out until 2020. We never know tho Razer might surprise us and realise it in 2019 but I don't think so.

razer my favorite laptop brand. razer phone 2 feels bad and my samsung a53 much better at cooling and gaming but that phone is like 4 years newer :U really nice body even with the bezels. i just wish they upgraded the specs and cooling ._. im going to get red magic 8 pro and add razer theme :U

I loved it for around 3 months. Screen stopped working, glitching, strips of screen not responding to touch. Really flaccid customer service. Did all the things but now it's only useful for playing audiobooks. What a horrible waste of my savings.

May be you didn't notice that much or you are really lucky. As my phone now hangs occasionally, lags a lot, no OS updates has made this phone really slow and buggy specially with always updating apps

If you had problems as this video had, then stop rooting it or stop download torrent with virus.... Because since I bought it (October 2018 Razer phone 2) I never had a problem with it bc I have skills of using it properly... It is a gaming device is not a a super camera or a vs against Samsung or apple... It works 100% when dealing with steam o.s . Understand how to use it wisely........

One, I never root any of my devices, two, when you pay $899 for a smartphone, you expect it to be as good as any other $900 phone. How would you describe LACK OF SOFTWARE UPDATES and still running old security patch when other phones are updating to Android 10. You don’t need SKILLS to use a smartphone, they are meant to make your life easier, not frustrating, by learning skills and changing OS of the phone. Lol

I told all these things because I had these complaints myself and tons of Reddit & Razer forums explain their authenticity. You may not have issue with your phone, but I and many others had. Plus, I have reviewed like 4-6 other phones on my channel, including a $1400 S20 ultra, so you may have a look on those too see where those stand

I loved this phone till it started giving me problems, the speakers went bad (they're not water resistant at all) not supposed to be water proof but resistant, failed. The charging port started failing after 6 months not I have lots of trouble charging it other than wireless (slowly), the dongle went bad after 4 months..... Most of the things I love it but I regret buying it 100%, oh and Razer? don't even bother contacting them. Next I'm just buying a Samsung and if I have any issues I'll just walk by a Samsung store rather than waiting months to have a phone replaced without knowing if I'm gonna be charged for a low quality defective product

Worst smartphone. Only use for 5month and USB C port having problem. Also speaker got quiet slow. Low quality phone. I'm frustrated use this phone. Never buy again from Razer . All of u can search at google. Many feedback from user having problems on USB Type C port and Speaker. Please don't buy Razer Phone 2.

@@ZeeForceGaming Type C port can't charge smoothly. Intermittent connection and will effect for battery performance and break down. Type C port also intermittent connection with my razer earphone. For speaker problem, it's become slowly sound after used for 5 month and for bottom speaker have crackling sound. For that all problem, u can find out at open sourch via google, another people have same problem. This issue have discuss at many forum.
