I had a great new year, spent it with my daughter in Saskatchewan. The weather was an absolute beast it got down to minus 50 Celsius with the wind chill and that was not in the north I was 3 hour drive from the USA border. Take care you guys and I am looking forward to more videos of your life on the farm.

Happy new year beautiful people, nice to see you all thriving. Living in rural Thailand I've always found it beneficial to introduce yourself to the local head men/women in your province, just show a little respect and humility, let them know who you are and what your up to (take a gift, alcohol always seems to go down well ; ). Can be an enormous help in resolving possible future disputes with locals/neighbors.

This is the first time I have seen your video, and I very much enjoyed it. I am from Perth, Western Australia. I have traveled a lot, but I will be very honest. Thailand is very close to my heart, especially Phuket. You are lucky you married a Thai girl. If that land is yours, try and grow Water Melon, Rock Melon or Sugar Melon. I know of a lady in the Phlippines that is a multi- millionaire today, just with her Water Melons. She has 100 people working for her, and she sells her produce all over the Philippines. If you have land take advantage of it, and get your returns back. In the super market, I see Rambutan, Lychee, Longan, and Mangostein. But I can only look at it, after I have seen the price of them. But when I am in Phuket. I make the best of all the tropical fruits I can eat. Looking forward to your next video.

Neighbour disputes?!!! My pal's half French, so his dad ended up with a house in France. The woman next door was a) a horror, and b) in tight with the local lawyers and judges. She ripped off every tradesman in the valley, dug a swimming pool, caused my pal's dad's garden to subside, and then made him pay for the massive retaining wall to stop her pool collapsing. He couldn't sue because the courts were so unfair. He was a GP. He ended up working with Buddhist monks to try to re-learn how to sleep. People talk about the East. Europe and small town America can be hell.
