Thanks again for a great video. Yesterday I pulled the convection fan out of my Quadra fire Castile pellet stove and cleaned and oiled it. Today it’s running nice and quiet. I didn’t know the job was so easy. My wife wanted to call the service tech who would have charged me $200. Everything is expensive in California 😊

I just installed a new blower and exhaust fans on my Whitfield Traditions T300p and we noticed the exhaust fan makes an annoying high pitch sound that changes with the rpms. The exhaust fan is a direct replacement(12050011)and went in with no problems and works fine but the noise is very annoying.The back or side panel doesn’t touch the fan housing so we’re stumped. I enjoy your videos and this one caught my attention. Would a new fan need lubrication?

The high pitch is not normal in our opinion. Many parts are mass produced. You may have received a defective fan. If your fan can be lubricated, try a small amount of 3 and 1 household oil. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe. Brett and Briggs
