-12s made 83kmh?
On stock esc on 8s made 68kmh!
According to the rc boat calculator online...it is right! 950kv on 8s with a 5014 prop does top speed of 68kmh!

I fixed that issue of 68kmh! Now it makes 83kmh...but is a jump fish! Think turning trim tabs down will fix that...let's see. I have the lipos facing 0.5cm foward inside foam... maybe get them more 3cm forward? lol

If you want a really fast boat you have to get rid of those hobby king lipos and get some SMC Racing packs.

Nice runs, she def gets squirrely for such a large boat. Gonna go 12s on mine as well with the seaking 200a esc. Hoping I can fit a 56 sized motor in there.

@ Wanting to run a fairly large prop and bash with it, not sure if the stock can stay cool on 12s for multiple minutes of wide open throttle. I’ll try though and swap out if needed.

Batts foward. More prop. Trim tabs down. And go down on your shaft angle a little. Itll help push the nose down. Good luck!💯

That's 78kmh. Mine always did 68kmh top max on 8s! And that's what the rc boat calculator says....950kv on 8s with a 5014 prop, right on the money! Maybe a high timing set on esc lead to that!

@@oceanchaser Any 6s will do. I will use Turnigy Rapid 6a 6s and Turnigy Heavy Duty 5a 6s. Two of each each time in series

Can a 56mm motor fit without modifications?

@@0Gonzo0ify SPMX-1074 is called a 4685 motor... So 46mm diameter? That's odd... I always tought it was a 56mm one...seems large. I will measure when i got home and will tell...if really a 46mm diameter or the normal standart large scales 56mm diameter motors!

@@riccblue It works just like any esc...only issue i have is that their LVC is weird...i mean it cuts off when there is two options to reduce power or cut off.....imagine wherey settin is? Reduce power....she cuts off ..but its noricable when lvc is coming 🤪
