This fight feels more special than Spence vs Crawford and Fury vs Usyk to me. Not sure why but I haven’t looked forward to a fight like this in many years. With Spence vs Crawford, there were all the question marks around Spences health since the crash, and with Fury vs Usyk there was all the question marks around Fury following his Ngannou performance and his overall attitude to the sport. Not to mention all the other bullshit that went along with that fight. This will be a no nonsense fight between two very serious, elite athletes.

Beterbiev has been cooking career might heavyweights. Big guys at the weight too. Big punchers and good boxers and a guys who are a combination of both. Look at what he did to Gzodzyk, Callum Smith, Joe Smith Jr and Yarde. Cooked them. Bivols win against Canelo was good but Canelo had no business being at LHW. It was a dare to be great type of risk from Canelo and Bivol took advantage and peppered him all over the show. Bivol wont be doing that to Beterbiev. Bivol may have a hand speed advantage...but doubt that will be enough to prevent all Beterbiev's other skills and attributes. Bivol good with distance control, but it is pretty back and forth basic...Beterbiev has advanced pressure and distance closing tactics...It isn't just walking forward and eating shots the way Golovkin did. It is a bit more like Usyk's but not carrying the variety of punching and angles and not carrying the heavy hands.
