The bottom line is why should Tyson Fury throw Joshua a bone? What does he have to gain by beating Joshua? If he beats AJ people will say “well AJ was finished” “ was easily brutalised within four rounds by DDD” …. So what’s the point? Haters /no one will be happy with whatever performance Fury puts over AJ. But Dubois didn't quit against 340 lbs Miller, did he? & he didn't quit when he was getting consistently punched in the face full power by Hrgovic, did he? He beat both of them up. He didn't quit on the big stage against AJ, when he ignored Joshua's power, especially after the Ngannou destruction, & went straight for him throwing bombs. See, the difference between Dubois & AJ specifically, is that AJ got beaten unexpectedly by a chubby Mexican who wasn't expected to have much of a chance, & it completely unsettled Joshua's fragile self confidence, which never fully recovered. With Dubois, he suffered a fractured eye socket which made him temporarily gun shy, because your eyesight is pretty important in life. But he has accepted that it was a rare event even in boxing, & has recovered completely. He did quit against Usyk, too. But that was his conscience failing him after he failed to win over Usyk by deliberate foul, & his conscience really didn't want to win illegitimately that way. He felt ashamed & disheartened & discouraged, because apart from that foul, he was losing every round. He won't quit again, & will be a dangerous fight for anyone now, including Usyk. Because he will do what TKO Fury was afraid to do against Usyk; - Go forward relentlessly throwing bombs & ignoring anything that comes back. It's the only way to beat a boxer of Usyk's calibre, brawl him.
