Curious to know if this sort of thing could be done in Cavalry (and maybe easier) because of their handy duplicator

That's a really good question. I've been using After Effects for over 20 years, but only just started dipping my toe in Cavalry. I know Cavalry allows expressions and 3D layers and cameras, so in theory there's nothing here which couldn't be replicated. If there's enough interest I might try to create the same rig in Cavalry, because I love it

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, your content is just so good! One of my favourite AE channels, hands down.👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

The video is cool, but i gotta admit... this is the side of AE that bores me the most. too many steps, tedious UI, to achieve what? It's not even that complicated as an effect. It should be fun creating stuff, you shouldn't need to be a semi-developer

ps: your low calming voice doesn't help to stay focused either. It's like on of those lessons you have in school where you can't keep your eyes open. Maybe it's just my problem

Haha! I haven't heard that about my voice yet. That would certainly explain why all my students keep falling asleep during lessons, now I think of it. You have a good point about the technical side of this. It's definitely not for everyone, but the effect isn't one you can achieve easily with one click. Whether it's this technique or something else such as echo effect or whatever, it requires a bit of setting up. But once it's set up you can save your rig and re-use it.

@@TheVideoShopLondon Sure, here's the corrected version: Yeah, of course, but look at Cavalry - it's so intuitive and simple, yet achieves really complex things. As for your voice, I'm sorry, but that was just the impression I got. Maybe you could try adding some rhythm to it. At times, you could sound excited, bored, or even frustrated with the program. Anything, really - any emotion at all. Otherwise, it just feels like a standard tutorial, and I watch it only because I need to. But I think it would help if people noticed you and your personality. That way, more people would remember you rather than just the tutorial itself. Am I being disrespectful or too cocky? English is not my native language, I'm trying to write and helping myself with GPT. I sure don't want to sound like that
