If you were wondering I've been thinking about this as well, you absolutely could if you applied the same shader to something like a perfectly flat surface like a plane and then you render it as a still image and apply that to your model then export it. This would mean though you would have to do the normal image separately and create that but it's possible, just bear in mind of course, it won't look good as it does in cycles potentially because cycles relies on raytracing and other methods to get extremely detailed lighting and displacement. The material might potentially benefit from some art software editing, make sure you don't have any lighting interfering with the look of your material too much.

NOT the awesome looking GOLD Solar panels ! Yeah...I made them......come back to do some work on them and they were gone ! That's right ! Someone stole them ! Tried several times and same results. The Gold Solar Panels are a nightmare for me .. :O)
