I used a couple of similar machines in Japan late last year. I remember thinking at the time they are so well designed and engineered. Fantastic to see the effort and care that goes into making them. Thanks for the video!
@johnfisher714310 ай бұрын
That is a seriously heavy duty washer, engineered to give years and years of trouble free life. Did you see the size of the drum bearings? Over engineered maybe, but will last a long, long time. Worth whatever it costs, such good quality comes out of Japan.
@janosnagyj.95409 ай бұрын
I thought the same, particularly when I saw the bearings... those are bigger than the whole drum assembly of cheap supermarket washmashines 😅

I'm not in the market for a commercial washer-dryer, but if I were, this would certainly be the one I'd consider. It looks like it's built better than most American cars are!

Japanese do build better cars than Americans too. Remember all the smack they talk about China now was applied towards Japan back in the 80s.
That factory was spotless. :) So much more satisfying than watching the "amazing manufacturing" videos showing fourth rate labourers turning out utter trash in Pakistani or Indian roadside hovels.

Went to a Laundromat in Japan. The machines all dispense soap, wash and dry the clothes. They had a few extra large dedicated driers for things like futons.

If you're setting up a laundromat, these are the machines you want. You'll get decades of life out of them, with the most work needed being a change of belts and the odd clean. They'll go forever.

смотрю и прям вижу, как 3 пакистанца с помощью камней и переплавленных кастрюль с тапочками делает "аналог" такой сушилки на коленке за 3 часа XD
these are what you want, you could instantly double the number of machines since they are combo units, more machines, more profit and the sooner the unit is paid for. hate to see the price of one of these though.
