Not a pro player or anything so maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not actually sure if it's been "buffed". I think Eight just starts off so weak that in comparison it's just really good

@@IDontReallyWantAKZbinHandle You can get a ton of buffs for turfing and enemies mostly ignore it so it's automatically better. Still not nearly the best sub, but at least it actually works.

@@IDontReallyWantAKZbinHandle I don’t think sprinkler was buffed for side order, it’s just that it’s in an environment where it functions in a way that’s actually impactful. In online sprinkler is just a waste of inc most of the time, but in an environment with slow moving, tanky enemies that cluster together sprinkler can really shine. In side order most of the enemies can’t easily destroy it, so it usually survives for a while, and while it doesn’t usually actually kill anything on its own, it can weaken a large horde of enemies enough to be actually useful in a variety of situations. It feels like sprinkler was designed for side order, and not intended for online use. Which really shows how poorly it has been handled in the main game.

​@buzzy4227 Well, as you can tell by the crazy damage numbers (like the swing for a roller doing 1,000 damage), but also the fact that your roller starts off with worse range than the normal roller, they've definitely adjusted the numbers for how everything works, and I do mean everything. Sprinkler did get buffed, just a little bit, and all of the buffs you pick up kind of hide that just because of how fast the ink output and damage get increased lol

I'm pretty sure the Parallel Canon is a reference to how the Inkings were always considered to be the good guys while the bad guys were the Octolings, but in here the roles are swapped, kinda making it "Parallel"

Yooo, one detail I love about this dlc is how the color of your ink is almost monochromatic but the outer part has a bit of color too it, *just* like the hair on the octoling

I love side order, its such a fun and great alternative to online imo. You can pretty much end up with grizzco tier weapons with the right chips and i never get tired of that (and normally impossible special charge rates too haha) killer wail is my favorite special in this mode too
