Procharged Camaro Dyno Numbers!!

Brendan so were you able to view and/or modify the Procharger tune in HP Tuners, or was it locked and the car had to be set back to stock in order to dyno tune it?

Hey!! I’m gonna be honest, I’m not too sure about that one, didn’t try to mess with it as I’ve never done it before. Just gave it to the pros and the rest is history😂

@@BrendanMacieAutos ended up doing the same. Results were very similar at 553 whp and 495 torque on stock 4.13 pulley with LT4 intank pump. The fueling and stock pistons are the real limiter in these cars.

@@lolyouwontfindme6070 Flawless still!! I’d think with a few bolt ones and a procharger you’ll still be ok, you can switch pulleys and tune it down a bit!! Always good to play it safe tho for sure👌

That’s awesome you’ll love it!! I got the P1X blower, stage II intercooler, regular blow off, helical gears! Anything more than the P1SC1 is recommended to go with the stage 2 cooler, keeps my P1X perfect👌

Nope! Definitely wouldn’t hurt, these cars stock are pretty good with stock everything until about 600+ wheel, though I have seen many go higher!!

@@uhzem 5th gen is a bit harder for me to recommend anything, don’t know too much about them except the LS3/L99 I believe, are very strong engines. Not sure how everything else holds up, no boost gauge for me, just running it low(7/8 pounds!). Definitely check out camaro5.com forums, that’s where I got most of my information when I started building my car👌

Nothing at all has gone wrong with the procharger, so that has been amazing! I did have a misfire, not sure if it was related to anything I've done or just something that would've happened reguardless. Nothing crazy, so I'd say it's been insanely reliable👌

@@BrendanMacieAutos wow, people really hate the LT1 because the rumor is they cannot handle boost reliably without building the motor, but this is great!

@@us249 I've heard that so many times, but I've actually seen reliable builds go a bit over 600 wheel with no engine work! I played it safe in case, and just swapped my larger pulley on to bring it down to 530, as it is my daily right now, but they can handle a lot more than people think!

@@us249 Aah yes, I did get an aux fuel pump, and I believe something else from the LT4 system, I'll have to look back at my invoice I can let you know just remind me! But yeah, not the best daily in Michigan but it's hella fun😂

@@kevanflores Honestly the best advice I can give is that it’s not as easy as it seems like things don’t fit perfectly and don’t let it discourage you!! It’s a tight space and you’ll have to do some minor adjusting, but it should all work!! Take it slow and use the internet and KZbin as a guide! I’ll be happy to answer questions as welll!!
