We are just starting to feel how great this artist was. A gift from the music gods given and taken away. Thank you.

Smoking git solo. And perhaps a nod to Dave Gilmour's "sirens" in live performances of "Comfortably Numb", another song that references psychiatry. @4:24

Canzone particolare,anche difficile da interpretare, ma se ti chiami Gary Brooker, allora tutto diventa facile...complimenti..

I had never heard this song until i brought the DVD Live at The Chapel, I think this version is well done in fact the earlier version is slow but this version is more upbeat, I like Gary,s intro about growing up being a wall flower thats me, now the words are entirely unexpected anyway a great song in all ways it is performed well executed and so proffesional a big like from me
@patrickluzzi98935 жыл бұрын
There is absolutely nothing upbeat about the composition of this song except for a vague assertion of the tenacity of individual human hope!

Now this is the version I love, smokin guitar solo and morphs into "I Can See Clearly now at the end" Only 2423 views.? I know alot of people prefer the older and slower versions.
I will always prefer the original version. But this one is quite nice too.

this is my favorite or at least one of but I'm with you. I have not been able to get into their live version. Saw them at least 6 times and 3 times their last tour before he died. Everything else is always top notch!

Wspaniałe wykonanie ponadczasowego utworu. Świetnie rozbudowana partia gitary solowej z wtrąconymi żartami muzycznymi.

Never knew what Gary sang on the weakest man line until I bought the CD. The original vinyl was so up there it was hard to make out the words.

Nice job Whitehorn. You fill big shoes on lead guitar but you've done excellently. (Nice rearrangement overall of "As Strong As Samson"). I didn't care too much for Gary Brooker singing the line "When you're being held to ransom," the way Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull would sing it. Other than that, Brooker was excellent.
