I’m trying to color my drawing in Procreate like you, but when I color over my drawing, the black lines from my original sketch get covered up. And when I try to color the same area again, it layers the color, making some spots darker than others. How can I fix these issues? Pls someone help me
@lauphine12 күн бұрын
Usually you need to create a separate layer below the lineart so your lineart won't disappear. And the other problem is usually because of opacity levels. Depends on what kind of brush you use or how high the opacity is (eg watercolor brushes tend to depend on opacity levels while some marker/liner brushes don't). Also if your layer opacity is lower than 100% it will create the same effect as the above mentioned watercolor brush. I hope this helps a little bit. 🥰
@jotaro97211 күн бұрын
@lauphine Ohhhhh it should be an extra layer below. Like you said, I changed the brush and I'm using an extra layer with lower opacity now, and it's working the same as in the video. Thank you so much 🥰🙏

Hola, dibujas con musica, podcast o en completo silencio?
The sound of that stylus would drive me nuts, reminds me the sound styrofoam makes. The more I watch digital art the less I understand it especially when your just point the camera, at least screen capture makes me understand ease of video production. All I see are things that would make me a worse artist. Not knocking your work at all, I just feel like a fossil watching this new digital art real-time tube trend. I plan on doing this videos put absolutely plan on doing everything by hand. I have a 20gb collection of jpgs of just anime style figure drawing and I cannot be bothered to look at it. I have tons of 3D models I made in Max and I have no desire to look at them. I have a handful of copies of my favorite sketches I made and I look at them all the time. It’s the difference between hard photos and phone pictures. Especially with AI being the bulk of artwork people consume this is the only way I see digital artists surviving, as soon as AI can learn to go through the composition process on a computer everyone will be cooked. Pencils and solid media are the future. There’s no value in selling prints of anything people can upscale and print themselves. Original art will be increasingly more valuable as less people know how to draw and paint properly or bother with it. Original work and printing making like lithography will be absolutely everything in the next ten years when it comes to low brow popular art forms. Paintings will likely be replacing by or intricate types of wall hanging. The way to go is to stream pencils and paint then have the work to sell.

you see art is subjective anything can be made into art but it should a creation of human take your pencil sketches fr example it is made by you a human ,digital art does not paint itself you can see how each stroke was created by human himself however ai does not go through this process ai don’t paint it generates you think tradisional arts are so save there’s robot painting using paintbrush are you aware of it instead of hating human and their way of painting let’s team up against ai every artist go through tremendous practice and hardwork to reach a level what if somebody told u you have talent and not hardwork that would upset you right?? exactly for this artist to reach this level also requires hardwork and practice you think digital art is easy apart from fundamental this artist must understand the software and each and every tools ,layer mode adjusment layers all those stuff it takes double effort to be a digital artist how about animation don’t u say u have never watched any cartoons or animation who does it for you ?? a artist mastered in digital art does think before you speak if you have nothing better to say don’t say nothing at all

You seem like a very unhappy person.
@TheLilaDoez20 күн бұрын
I think if you re-read what you wrote here, you might see what the 'issue' might be... You are comparing yourself to the person in the video. You should not do that. Not because it is immoral or 'mean' to do so, but because it will hinder YOU. You will begin overthinking art and its beautiful complexities and wide range of mediums. You will both elevate and isolate yourself from the social world that art is meant to be. The journey, my friend, is what matters the most. Especially how you react to that journey. There is a reason art is still a thing nowadays, even 'old' art. None of the forms will truly go away as long as humanity (and 'inhumanity' like elephants, birds, etc) have a sense of creativity, of life. My genuine advice to you, my friend, is to not fret over other's journey but your own.
