If you so desire a "fuller" (from my perspective) perspective you can find deeply woven in the spaces presented in scripture and parables; the whole message is to forgive ourselves...forgiveness was never the issue. Shame in the garden corrupted our perception and interpretation of our experiences with God, ourselves, others. Then came scripture. It "corrupted" our ability to be in the heart and know the only one needing to forgive is ourself. Forgive ourself. How many times in scripture did God have mercy on us? And give us something because we were throwing a temper tantrum. Its all there. Scripture is written in waves...seemingly big gaps in "time". Its pointing us to peir through the veil of words. Words can never touch the ineffible God. This is why studying scripture is necessary. The more you chew on the words the more soaces you find in the words...this is where the Spirit awaits. Njoy Of course verify verify verify...if you so chose to explore faith a smidge differently.

This movie seems to have two different titles. The other one is, "Trust Fund". Ana Ortiz, the woman who plays Meredith, the father's new wife, looks amazingly young and fresh for her age, which was about 47 when this movie was made. She's an almost exact double for Jacinda Ardern, complete with the set of huge choppers. She should be considered for the role if they make a movie about Jacinda.

This is nothing like the story of the prodigal son. I’m shocked at few ppl know the story well enough to know. This story is awful and the only reason I watched as much as I did was hoping it would actually get better. This movie pushes all the wrong messages. The prodigal son didn’t just loose spend all the money he suffered the consequences of his actions to the point where he was tending pigs in exchange for the left over scraps the pigs didn’t eat without even a place to lay his head. He decided to go back to his father because he recalled even his fathers servants lived better than this. When he came back the father threw a party to celebrate nd welcomed him back but made it very clear the son had squandered his inheritance. The son who stayed the father clearly says, “all I have is yours.” The prodigal son gets his life back but not his inheritance he spent it. He has freedom to pursue building a new life but he didn’t escape unscathed or without experiencing the consequences of his actions. Those he definitely experienced. This movie is terrible and promotes a terrible message. That there aren’t consequences to actions if your dad is rich and that everyone should treat you as if you never did anything. It is normal to take time to see ppl in a new light especially when they do something that insanely wrong. This whole movie is a pitty party for the sister who stole the money and this “poor little girl” message is how evil tyrants are formed. Ppl who know no struggle or difficulty, who’re shielded from consequence are incentivized to at all costs to those around them and broadly across the world, focus only on their own self interest. What insanity. A good God doesn’t raise his children to life selfish self absorbed vapid lives that result in mass destruction. He takes children whose nature is like this and transforms them by the consequences of life to be selfless and good and kind not just when it’s easy or convenient but because through and through it is who they are. I didn’t see even one bit of holding her accountable instead I saw persecution of the sister by the new wife figure and I’m just like why is that even necessary. Y’all this story is so dangerous and nothing like the gospel. The gospel isn’t a message of shielding People from consequences but in the midst of the consequences shaping them into new life and setting them free from the ultimate consequence of eternal death.

Quite a story, she steals $5 million from the company and let's it slip right through her fingers, then later, she gets another $5 million as an equal share of a trust fund. Only the rich and privileged could understand this. I don't think I've ever seen the actress before, who played Meredith. But she really does look like a twin to Jacinda Ardern, teeth and all.

I am not going to lie, Jessica Rothe is a 10 and the acting between the daugthers and the father decent enough, but any sort of logic and reason in the script really seems to go AWOL. It seems incoherent like ... girl goes to Italy then mumble mumble diamond something and now he's a mafioso! There might also have been blackouts and fainting while editing this movie.

This was a nice movie, but I didn't really believe Reese's romance - true in life but it didn't feel so real in this movie IMHO. The family were lovely, Reese (Jessica) is beautiful and the take on the Prodigal Son, worthy - but it didn't have the chemistry of 'My Forever Girl.'
