It’s also recommended to use the AC plug and pre chill the unit at home before you leave so you don’t use as much portable battery to chill or you could plug it into your cars DC to get it to temp. Also, Set Power is ICECO’s sister brand.

I've got the Setpower EA35 that I've been using in the kitchen since I got a larger unit for the Jeep. It's been going for almost 2 years solely as a freezer with the only power downs being to defrost it 2 times inside that timespan, and I ran it as a fridge in the Jeep for a year before that. These Setpower fridge/freezers are great quality that just won't quit!

1:16 THIS IS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT.. they are all same width and depth and just get taller lol Was too dumb to figure that out. Amazing review, thank you! Probably going to get this 35 or the next one up for my upcoming trip. The budget wise is where it gets me compared to the DOMETIC.

Great review. I was a bit envious of the dual zone that fit in the bed. We have a smaller Set Power that we've had out twice and it has been rock solid. Glad to have been able to see yours in action, thanks again.

I think this is tough to beat, even at twice the price. News Flash: Aluminum is not magnetic! :)) I don't think that wrap is aluminum though. I just got one of these and it seems like it's a regular metal wrap that's been painted and looks like aluminum. That means that it could rust if scratched. No biggie. I'll just touch it up and stick a location patch over it. I am impressed with the warranty on the compressor. Thanks for sharing your experience with this.

i just wish it had reversible lids like some of their other fridges. That woulda been a total buy for me! I have my fridge in different areas sometimes and its nice to be able to reverse the lid.

I prefer the RV Series instead. They still have the option of 2 zones, but they have just one lid, a removable divider, and a slightly larger capacity and flexibility with packing since it can be 1 larger space. They also include the removable wire basket too.

I recently purchased the AJ30. After hooking it up to my Electric Generators it will shut off once it gets to temp then the Electric Generator will shut off. How to I get it too keep running?

If it has an Eco mode on the electric generator, turn it off.
