The great thing about your interviews, Warren, is that they're so natural. You go through a person's history and background, getting a snapshot of their past works and how it led to where they are today. That's the stuff I like to hear. And then by staying natural, that history branches off in many directions and you just talk together about everything. It gets to be natural while still mining as much good information/conversation as if it were rehearsed or something. It satisfies everyone that way. I hope you know how rare your interview style is! Thank you!

I’ve been recording a record entirely on my iPhone (GarageBand)- I record the drums off the floor, and then add bass/guitar/vocals/samples etc, it actually sounds shockingly OK as a demo but for the next release I would like a bigger sound- while still retaining the raw chaos. I’m debating on getting the tracks mastered, which is something I don’t fully understand. Do you have any advice for a 40 yr old heavy metal luddite like myself on how to transition from using GarageBand on my phone to something that will sound bigger and fuller? (What program/laptop etc should I learn about or invest in) a part of me thinks I should just keep using the damn phone because I’ve gotten so used to it and it quickly captures my spontaneous outbursts. I’m embarrassed even asking this question, especially hearing masters like Sean Beavan talk. Thanks in advance and sorry for the rambling question.
