Black Swan is like under the "Shadow" part of a person. in which one's fear is kept in the deeper part of your brain.. the 3 rappers have solo songs in this album where they talk about Persona, Shadow and Ego in their own point of view BTS doesn't only make music out of psychology, they also make music from books (like Blood Sweat and Tears), societal issues (they have dozens of it), their own experience and feelings throughout their career.. they also have songs dedicated for ARMY and also their haters..

One thing about BTS is that they are very versatile artists. I have never seen any artist doing these much of genres that they do . And their albums reflets what kind of phase they are going through in life starting from their debut album . Thanks for the explaining the context . This song is one of my fav. Also , yeah they are not only popular in korea but worldwide.

The rappers didn’t give up their hip hop music. But as a group they do what fits the group as a whole . They evolve their sound but hip hop is still very present.

To me the theater was the theater of the Psyche as described by Karl Jung, a place filled with Personas and Shadow elements trying to act out and ultimately the play is resolved via what Jung calls individuation. Black Swan refers to a sudden unexpected event with strong often negative consequences. BTS in an applied psychology context acts out the moment when the constant drive to one's "life" aspirations suddenly stalls as negative emotions rise from the unconscious Shadow creating dissonance maintaining the Persona necessary to gaining fulfillment from working in one's life direction. Individuation is necessary to resolve the two Psyche elements into a coherent goal directed Ego.

The Leader of BTS Namjoon (RM) the one of the main song writer's is a poetic and Rapper has an IQ of 148 and is extremely well read. He often suggests to ARMY(fanbase) what books to read in fact their was a problem obtaining one of the books he recommend by the German thinker Hermann Hesse entitled Demian. It got sold out and had to be reprinted in fact it's been reprinted many times over. He's very influenced by the classic's, great works of art, greek Mythology, Psychology, etc etc. But then all 7 members of BTS are extremely intelligent. They are very much the 'Thinking man's' Musical act.

RM also loves visiting museums and art galleries, but he also enjoys nature and the outdoors. Suga (the 2nd most prolific songwriter in the group after RM) also reads a lot and they both get inspiration from the most unexpected places. The song 134340 is sung from the perspective of the former planet Pluto after it was decided it didn’t meet the criteria for a planet and was “demoted” to a numbered asteroid/dwarf planet. Whalien 52 is inspired by a whale whose frequency is so unique other whales can’t hear its song, making it “the loneliest whale”.

They are based in Hip Hop and R & B and still do both it's never really changed. All their albums contain Rap and R & B. They never left it never ever left it behind it's their foundation. They don't do concepts they do what's real to them.

BTS start this concept pretty much since I NEED U from The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt. 1 album, in 2015. They always have this trilogy thingy. First trilogy about dreams. They've been talking about dream since debut, the title track is No More Dream, N.O, Boy in Luv and Danger. This is their most hip hop era. Second trilogy about youth and sounds more pop. The title track is I NEED U, RUN, and FIRE (this is not a title track but highly recommended to watch after RUN, Butterfly prologue). The next trilogy about mental health, Love Yourself album series, the next is Map of the Soul: Persona, and so many more. Also they are not leaving hip hop, they just want to try different genre since they have been in the business for 10 years. They are growing and expanding their genre💜 I see you guys like ENHYPEN lore, so if you guys like this kind of universe storyline concept, i would love to recommend you guys to listen to BTS first, then TXT and ENHYPEN. These 3 groups have similiar concept and have their own universe storyline because they are basically from the same agency, Bighit Music/Hybe Labels and have the same producer, Bang Shihyuk or you can call him Hitman Bang. He's the man behind these 3 groups and &TEAM as well😂 he also gives his artists the freedom to actively contribute to song creation, art productions, listen to their concerns and help them to turn it into a song, receive their ideas for songs, lyrics, choreography and etc. unlike other agencies which are only agencies that work on albums and everything. Hitman Bang sees BTS being successful with this universe storyline so he use it to his next groups as well, which are TXT, ENHYPEN and &TEAM. So if you guys enjoy the lore especially about psychology or philosophy or social issues, i hope you guys will react to BTS music videos chronologically!!💜 *sorry for broken english

BTS es muy sincero en sus letras sobre sus luchas y sus miedos, y habla de salud mental y superación personal en muchas de sus etapas. En sus comienzos eran un grupo de hip hop, y trataron las dificultades q los jóvenes y ellos mismo sufrían en sus primeros años. Y a medida que crecieron como personas y artistas probaron mas estilos y géneros musicales y hablaron de las cosas que como jóvenes adultos les pasaban. Jimin who had an extremely high voice as well and some very deep growls is the one dancing on his own. He's a contemporary dancer and also a Hip Hop dancer. He was the top student at the Busan School of Arts he's also a martial arts expert in more than one style. He will often incorporate his different dancing styles and use his martial arts training within dance moves as well. He's the one who does all the high mid air flips, he also does mid air kicks. He also had incorporated traditional Korean Fan Dance in one performance. J Hope is also another of BTS outstanding dancers and their Dance Leader. They are all extremely talented and learn from each other without having huge ego's. When you have 7 amazing artists in one group all learning from each other be that singing or dancing or song writing or composing or as producers you would expect one of 2 things they'll either be no end of ego's and in fighting which would distroy them or a want to all help each other get even better at what the do which is what happens with BTS. Their ethos to be the best at everything they do, to praise each other and encourage each other is what make's them THE Global Super that they are. They've been doing this for over 10years now they are all doing their national service in the ARMY and won' all be back together until June 2025. You might want to watch the Guide to BTS the Bantang 7 by Taylor Mari as it explains a lot about the members. Their small bankrupt company CEO told them to write about their stories what they were interested in. He gave them complete creative freedom as he believed in their skills and talents. Which is very unusual in the Kpop Industry, although because of what BTS have achieved doing what they want and not what they've been ordered to do there are now some who are have been given some very limited freedom to write their own songs and choose what they want to sing about. However it's not a common practice. Bang PD saw the need to let artist be just that artist's rather than simply performers. He wanted BTS to have creative freedom which not a concept that the majority of the kpop industry follow as they want complete control over their performers.

Thank you for watching BTS and pay attention to their miningfull songs. BTS still does hip hop music. Black swan is one of their songs in map of soul 7 album which is including multiple songs that has hip hop things. They often release a specific hip hop songs especially the rap line (RM Suga J-Hope). If you interest to watch BTS hip hop song, I recommend you to watch their song called RUN BTS.

The Shadow represents their fear of losing their passion but they conquer it so it falls away into nothingness. 'Shadow' along with Ego and Persona are Psychological terms within Jungian Pscychology. Shadow being where one's darkest thoughts and fears reside. Hope that helps it's just a basic idea about the concept of 'Shadow'. I could go into more detail as I've studied all main Psychology theories as my degree is in Psychology.

A Black Swan also can mean an announced and unexpected event. They dropped Black Swan out of NOWHERE. No hint at all that there would be an MV for it at all.

No they weren't offered to not go they were they only kpop artist who qualify to wait until they are 30year old. It's for 18months not 2years. They never asked not to go and never asked for the extension either. They choose for themselves when they were going to serve and just got on with it. These guys plan ahead often as much as 2 years ahead, they don't leave things to the last minute, they all have business degree's 4 of them have Master's Degree's.

He's Carl Gustav Jung was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who founded analytical psychology. He was a contemporary of Freud. They didn't get on with each other and often had some public 'fights' over their theories.

Oh guys the reason why BTS chose to keep going to military because Korea basically want them to keep working for the economy and BTS just want to rest, and fulfill their duties just like other good koreans citizens. And we army also tired of haters who keep throwing hate comments because BTS gets special treatment regarding being free from military service or can postpone their military service for several years. But BTS refuses to be treated special and chooses to fulfill their obligations like ordinary people like everyone else. This has been a hot topic for years with the government, they are even more worried than fans and army defending BTS because army respects their decision. The thing you don't know is Korea's entertainment industry and economy are too dependent on them and forget that BTS just humans who can get tired and not a product. They've worked sooo hard in this industry for 10 years straight non stop, let's just let them rest :)
