I know you probably won’t see this but if you want to hear an amazing cover of this song you should listen to the turtle from the masked singer last season sing it...he also sang “before you go” by Lewis capaldi and turned out to be Jesse McCartney who in my opinion is one of the most severely under rated and under appreciated vocalists in the last 20yrs

Jin’s voice in the three part harmony was amazing. I was impressed with the Rap Line joining the Vocal Line to create beautiful harmonies. During Jin’s belting Suga stayed with him throughout that part. Eternal roommates showing us how deep their connection is.

Jin is apparently a huge fan if Cold Play and this particular song. And I also think lyrically this song was for the ARMY. They're always talking about wanting to heal through music and the line "lights will guide you home" can refer to the ARMY bombs and how their concerts are lit up spectacularly. I really believe this song had deeper meaning to them than just choosing a popular song.

They were all incredible but Jin and Taehyung were really able to showcase their vocals here which im so happy about. Shoutout to the rap line as well the harmonizing was spot on (they should do more of this!) Not leaving off my bias JK and Jimin of course - impressive as usual. That's why BTS is BTS. Kings!

So much swag in this group. J-Hope looks so good, and sounds amazing. Jin sounds like an angel. They kept the Coldplay instrumental break because they like Coldplay enough that they wanted to respect the integrity of the original song. The lighting department tried to help them out, lol. Their backing band is Ghost, who travel with BTS and provide all their instrumentals. The boys are comfortable with them, which makes the interludes easier. They consider it a way to highlight and respect their backing band.

I just love love love the hype you have for JHope😄. I mean, I know right? Jhope looks absolutely stunning here. I sent this performance to my non-kpop friends cus they're massive fans of Coldplay. They came back asking for the guy in with the red mic because they were amazed by his visuals, they said and I quote "His stage presence just comes through, he's doing the bare minimum but he's glowing". And then asked for the guy with the PINK mic cus his vocals were soothing.

J Hope wrecks me too, with V being my ultimate bias, his voice is magic and his falsettos are perfection (especially with him being a baritone, I mean...). And then there’s JK, Jimin, Suga, Jin, JHope, RM. Yeah, they’re all bias wreckers. I love the fact they stayed true to the original, which is my top three songs of all times and Coldplay being one of my favorite bands. All they wanted to do is bring their own interpretation of emotions.

When I watched this the overriding feeling I got was they were sending a healing message to Army's and the world in general. First they cheered us up with Dynamite, then they soothed and reassured us with Life Goes On, when they saw/felt our struggles they consoled us with We Will Fix You. Just my thoughts tho.

Several BTS members love this song, have in years past included it on their published Spotify playlists...So with that in mind, as well as the messages of comfort and healing they wanted to spread during the pandemic with their album 'BE' - I believe they didn't mess around with the song and played it with reserve in order to show their respect and love for the original song and its meaning, which fits so well with 'BE'.

I know that BigHit Ent has recently contracted with Universal Music Group along with Columbia, both also represent Coldplay. Coldplay enjoyed a spike in sales/streams of " Fix You" immediately after BTS's MTV performance cover streams. Since the MTV performance is supposed to be UNPLUGGED, as opposed to the Coldplay MV version that ended with a crescendo in a concert stadium. MTV UNPLUGGED performances in general are designed towards showcasing artists' musical talents & skills as opposed to crowd hyping NRG. I can imagine 80K highly charged fans singing along with the group at the Rose Bowl or Wembley stadium. The concerts are where you would hear, see & feel the high NRG you were waiting for...should they choose to perform this song...should you choose to attend. Andrea this is the first time that I've watched your reaction. I appreciate it so much.
