Bear in mind that MMM probably cant afford to do so prior to this. Agency as huge as SM can snub an award, and their groups would still find jobs (as we all know their long on going slack with MAMA), but RBW is smallish group and MMM is probably their most lucrative groups. While their work ethics are legendary, the fact that RBW and MMM just could only sit and bear with it. But with the overwhelming success of 4S project, Hwasa being the IT girl with the golden touch, and the skyrocketing fame of MMM as a brand name, now they could stood up and diss people a bit. This is also not even a downright snub I might add; given how in demand MMM right now (and how up to arms moomoo currently), a snub would be if they decide to ditch MMA altogether. But they dont, even if they still deliver a diss, so yeah.

I am proud of the accomplishments of the radish farm, but Mamamoo was clearly mistreated by MMA2019. Less time to perform than some rookie groups, no interviews, etc. If it can happen to a group that worked hard to earn its stripes, it can happen to mostly anyone (especially to groups from smaller agencies). This is a problem that extends beyond just the Mamamoo fandom alone.

for mamamoo, performance in the stage is everything and i know they always work hard to give us the best they can. so when mma just cut it off and speed it, many of us angry. i think mamamoo angry too. the way they diss pd and said "cut cut cut" in the end of their performance are proof. but the way they dont just sit calm after not being respected like that, make me really proud. they angry but with beautiful way. I really love mamamoo.

This proof one more time how MAMAMOO are professional. Even in a shit situation when they have to cut their performance last minute, when the production disrespects their senior status, they are pissed, but they get the job done, they give 100%. That's why they are on top, even if it's not at the taste of the "industry" and their sabotage they have to fight. From the start it was like this, and sadly I think it will never change... I felt bad, putting it in soft words. I was in rage, mamamoo wanted to do hip, also the number of dancers was obvious they had planned something big, they are queens when it comes to mini concerts we saw this in queendom and old award shows, if they knew they had 7 minutes they would be prepared for that, what they did felt unfinished and being a perfectionist as they are in their shows, probably they where pissed about throwing out all the work and also letting it this little level of professionalism they always show. They did dirty on them.

Ein fact denn ich noch erwähnen wollte ist, das Hwasa an dem Tag krank war und auch regelmäßig Medizin deswegen nehmen musste. some of what you guys said near the end there... that's actually a huge thing. in general, the members of mamamoo love their culture and traditions, but at the same time, they have zero qualms about trying to remove or change those that need it... you can see some of that in moonbyul's solo stage at their 4 seasons f/w concert, where she plays traditional drums and does a fan dance while wearing traditional male clothing... she's been especially vocal about gender roles and stereotypes and how they need to go mamamoo is one of the groups at the forefront of various movements gaining steam in south korea, such as women's equality, self-empowerment and gay rights... all things that are very much needed, but very much lacking in such a conservative and tradition-bound culture. they're getting both a lot of love and a lot of hate for that, but the latter doesn't stop them, it makes them push back harder the message of much of their music tends to boil down to those movements... love yourself, you (and women) can do anything you set your mind to, everybody deserves respect regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, color, sexual preference or whatever... and this isn't just something they sing about, but they push for these offstage in both blatant and subtle ways, as well, which is a huge reason they're used to rally around by members of these movements, why their songs tend to get blasted at max volume at pride parades in korea, as an example

Actually, Mamamoo are always getting such attitude from different awards or even criticism from population. Even MAMA2018 invited Mamamoo for the first time last year( when the group was in their 5 year and it was their first invitation) and they didn’t get any room for dressing, there was video that was blocked after where girls changed their clothes in the corridor between the solo stages before group performance, but finally mama understood it and got them their own room this year. People always criticize them because they are not standard women and don’t want to be ) that’s point and inspiration for majority for their fans

Everyone knows PD to The point that everyone uses The phrase PD somewhere when they need something from The crew. Cause the PD calls The shots. This is something that their company RBW is good at: letting them be themselves. I don’t think any other company (especially the big three) would’ve let them diss the award show live like that.
