You know you got me thinking we could use that blur tool to maybe say blur an entire concerto from Bach or Vivaldi and then start building on top of that sort of like a awesome mech suit or something

Best two things for cpu are F12 (close all windows) and also disable master effects (these are SUPER CPU hungry) - also using audio instead of midi wherever possible! 😉👌

Quick tip for that annoying "stuck fader automation" problem, delete the automation clip then right click the fader knob in the mixer and select "delete initial value" and that should get rid of that issue.

I hate the automatic saving... I learned to save my project manual and frequently, because when saving large projects with lots of for example Serum plugins, or Kontakt banks, it freeze for a half of sec. and its really annoying.
@mostmost12 жыл бұрын
I never knew about auto saving. I worked on a project for hours and my PC froze. I thought I lost it all because I didn't save yet. I was happy I got most of the work back.

One thing as a beginner I am unsure on is the pros and cons of using either (a) a line each in the playlist editor; for example a kick dragged in on one line/clap another OR (B) using patterns that you then add in, so for example one pattern for drums etc? Thoughts?

Brilliant stuff. I first used FL studio in 2003 for a few years until my son was born. Haven't used it properly for a long time, but luckily at the time I bought it so I could get every new release. I have a pretty rigid way of working and have never used quantize or automation clips. Started looking at KZbin tutorials as I want to fade out patterns in the Song window, but didn't know how to do it. Is that the Automation thing?
