Product Highlight: Thrashin Supply Hard Mount Bag Brackets

We have been selling our Essential and Escape throw over saddlebags for almost a decade now, and we are super excited to now offer hard mount brackets! Whether you are an existing costumer looking to hard mount your bags or interested in purchasing a new set of saddlebags, these mounts work for both the Essential and Escape Saddlebags. One of the key features for our hard mount brackets is the ability to raise and lower the hight of the bracket by 1/2" up and down. Comes with all the hardware needed to mount to a variety of bikes.

99-17 All Dyna Models (Must relocate blinkers)
Will work with other models such as Sportster, FXR, and custom applications but will need different hardware and spacers. Blinkers may also need to be relocated.

Boom! XL1200CX with a High Tracker/Scrambler Style Exhaust that is very close to the shocks. I think this will clear the exhaust heat and make soft luggage well supported. Ability to move it up and down plus side to side. Bolts are parallel and turn signals already relocated! This will probably do the trick!

Hell yeah, can’t wait to scoop these one day. I’ve had the essentials for years now, but with sissy bar, you can see where the”yoke” strap is rubbing. It’ll also be nice that they won’t have the sag they get from tools or a 6 pack. You guys design and make such great products!

If you’re installing this on an fxlrs and you want to use the quick detach backrest you’ll need to use the softail spacers on the outside of the detach mounts. Those are the 4 thinner spacers supplied.

Just put these on my 21 Lowrider S. I have HD detachable sissy bar mounts and mounting was easy but, I had to go buy two more bolts. You will need two more 1.75 bolt for this to work with HD detachable set up. Went to the local hardware store and found no problem. When I called Thrashin to find out if I was doing something wrong I actually spoke to a person! Luke or Jake?, was awesome. Best costomer service.

Only issue I came across was I have to put my sissy bar on before securing the bags with those lag bolts. The quick release wouldn’t clear. Little bit of a puzzle, but it works.

As simple as it is, some cnc company like sendcutsend could probably whip you up something you can design yourself really fast. It's well though out holes in a piece of plate steel with one bend.

The supplied spacers. They allow the bracket to sit spaced off the strut.

I'd use washing up liquid in warm water with a sponge then just wipe with a dry cloth and leave to air dry

I’m not positive the exact hardware that cobra has. But it should work. We do supply hardware and it works with most other accessories 👍🏻

The bolts are long with the "BOBBIN PINS" for the Sissy Bar. Remove the bolt and place the brackets on the outside of the Bobbin for the Sissy Bar. Might want washers or longer bolts you can find at ACE HARDWARE in Chrome or Black Chrome. Don't carry more than 100 pounds on each rack and you should be fine.

With stock exhaust possibly with the extra clearance at the highest setting. You may need to angle it a little. Your best bet is honest get an exhaust that will clear for luggage. Even if it clears it will be close and the heat of stock exhaust may cause damage to the bags.
