Thank you for sharing all these knowledgeable and technical reviews and breakdowns. Just a little video suggestion. Consider facing the window so shadows aren't so harsh. Or place a diffused light source to the front-left of you to balance out the natural light from the window.

I love my WIFA's - I've had them for about a year and they were comfortable from day 1. I rink skate in them about 3-4 times a week. Adrienne Schreiber was great to work with! Great video!

Thanks for doing these reviews. Im in the marketbfor new boots and am overwelmed. I was leaning towards the 220s. Which do you prefer between wifis, 336 and 220s? Or differently put, what would you say would be the significant decider if you were choosing between the 3.

I tried one of those on & it was incredibly comfortable even though I have wide feet. Unfortunately, the pair I tried had the heel already tearing away from the boot! After seeing your review I may need to reconsider these for a future outdoor setup. As always, you’re breakdown is great 👍🏼

You replied on my other comment re the 220... toe box shape.Thank you. So I tried these as they were raved about all over. They were also very tight in my toe area just like every other $300 or less boot i have tried minus jack and lolly. My feet are wide at toe area and all boots seem to really slim towards toes. Are you versed enough in these to make a comparison about how these compare to a 220 toe box? I have a feeling I will just have to travel to a shop to test a couple boots before I do any custom 220 . I have gone through too many online tests and hate to annoy the shops by sending stuff back. I felt the stitching was a little flawed on these and material on bottom had nicks even before a plate was put on.. i just tested a boot.That cushion ankle ball also felt off placed.. my feet are probably just really weird. As much as people hate Jack and Lolly I still feel their quality was better than these.I did love that their suede was quality suede though.I really wanted to love these. Would have saved me a custom build :/

i’m sorry it wasn’t for you. not everything is for everyone. but this is literally the first time i have read anyone say the quality on these were less than any of the moxi boots. maybe the tester is off. but several skate companies including wifa and riedell do full custom builds specific to your feet measurements. maybe you need something like that? riedell’s quality and service on their customs are just so impressive. if i had the $$$ i would just jump straight to that option.

great reviews! I had the 220's a while back, is this Wifa lighter and is it shorter at the leg/ankle? I like the back of this Wifa too, looks like it doesn't dig into your achilles.

Correct, it's cut Lower in the back

Yes they're made in Vienna, Austria. Do you have any thoughts on this versus Moxi Jack? It seems to me these are a teeny tiny bit wider, being on C last (I think Moxi is A/B?) and when I compared some insoles the Wifa was only a few MMs wider. I hear these are better for wider feet but some people with wider feet have said the Wifa toe box was too narrow for them, I think...? Anyway yes I also think they've very well made and a great value for money, but I've run into some friction from people who love their Jacks and think these don't compare in any way, so I'm looking for an unbiased recommendation of who might like one over the other.

Sizing question....generally speaking skates are the same size on each foot. However companies like Wifa and Riedell offer a custom made boot. Meaning they are made to fit each foot, regardless if both your feet are the same size. Have you had any feedback from customers that have gone from general sizing to custom sizing and had trouble getting use to their skates? For example, one foot is slightly smaller than the other and they didn't notice a difference with a generally sized skate, but now notice a difference with custom sized skates? Did their skating improve? Is it worth the money for the custom sizing? On a side note...have you skated in a wifa or a 336? Pros and cons?
@rollerskateuniverse67632 жыл бұрын
Great questions! Usually it's not the skates that improve the skill, it's always the "seat time" that does the most. I've skated the 336 several times, but not the wifa, although I'd love to give it a shot!
@1crafter2another2 жыл бұрын
@@rollerskateuniverse6763 what did you think of the 336? I do need a ton more practice, but I have issues with my feet being two different sizes. I've been at it about a year and still struggle with balance and was wondering if maybe my foot sizing was giving me troubles and if it was worth the money to have skates that are designed for each foot. I havent found any reviews giving feedback on such foot issues and if having basically two different sized skates made a difference, so I'd thought I'd ask.

@@1crafter2another 336 is great! Usually too much boot for most users, but well built

there aren’t a lot of reviews out there for this. it seems like a great price for the quality. what about this mounted on a sunlite plate for an quality affordable skate build? (i was commenting as i was watching and i see that’s exactly what you built)

So would you go with these or the sure grip boardwalks. I mean price range these would probably be higher but I want to get a well made skate so I don’t have to purchase another in a few years. Thanks 😊 I have an outdoor set but I’d like a pair for indoor use
@rollerskateuniverse67632 жыл бұрын
By budget, boardwalks. For all out performance, the wifas

Thank you! Was hoping to get your thoughts on the WIFA brand. I have the WIFA street suede as my first pair of skates and I love them! I’m going back and forth between a riedell 220 and the WIFA street extreme for my next pair (probably years down the road)
