The screen is actually for reinforcing the place you are repairing. Sorta like rebar in concrete. Makes it stronger than just melting the plastic together.

I just got myself one of those welding kit, thanks for your review and great video. Just one recommendation. Always wear safety glasses and gloves no matter how big or small the project is.Remember safety first.

Typically no. I only have one decent camera holder in my shop. I can pivot from that location but that's about it. What portion of the video would you like to see further away and or closer up?
