What I love about maap Jersey’s is the ykk zipper lock. Flipped down the zipper is locked. Flip it up and you can lightly pull one side of the collar and it opens up like butter. Was riding around centennial park and was wondering why I was getting a breezy feeling around the stomach. Oh crap my Jersey unzipped! That’s when I discovered this gem feature.

The trend for ‘all’ high end brands are bibs attached to the insert to hold it better in place. Who knows if it actually does, but it’s a trend that all brands have now.

Really pleased with my Mapp summer jersey, not so with there leg warmers, they are forever slipping down, looks good on your slim physique

Hi mate, just curious. I bought the same gear in small, I’m 185 cm slim build and 74 kg. The top of the bib sits fairly low under my belly button and if I raise my arms my skin shows about an inch between the bottom of jersey and bib. Would you say I am a size Medium?

On your weight loss journey, what did you? I m around your age but weight is alot higher than yours and heavier build . The kit looks lovely btw

To be clear, it didn't begin as a quest: I wasn't trying to lose weight, it just happened. I got to a max of around 74kg - heaviest in my life, about 10 or 12 years ago - and then I stopped drinking soft drink. Was a one-can-a-day-can't-hurt kind of approach back then, but I thought: empty calories, and stopped. Lost 5-6kg immediately. Within weeks. Since then, I've just been riding more, eating cleverly (I'd like to say, wisely is more apt - but I'm not there yet, as I still indulge in all kinds of food... often). On my 50th, I was the same as when I was 18: 65kg. Happy with that. A few months back, stopped the booze for a month or two... and I got as light as 61. But then muscle replaced some of the fatter bits and 64 seems my happy place. For now. - Rob

@@ride-media fairplay to you Rob, thats amazing. I'm 49 5 ft 6 and 82kg, ( used to weight lift when I was younger) but eat all the wrong crap and enjoy a beers to 3 :) wil;l defo follow some of your tips there, thanks for such a quick reply

Agree way too expensive for what you get. Pedal Mafia clothing in WA so much better priced and quality extremely good. Would like to see bibs that are not down to your knees, difficult to find shorter leg lengths from any manufacturer. Would think with the gravel scene there may be a market for a shorter bib length for the summer months
