Since thermal clip ons became legal for hunters in Germany some new stuff has come out on the market. Looking to get something for my own hunting here in Sweden as well 👌👌

Nice video. The fox at 6:00 I thought the picture quality was terrible. It reminded me of sega mega drive graphics 🤣🤣. That fox didn't know he was running towards the best trigger man in the game.
@260rips2 жыл бұрын
The pic quality is far better through the scope and less magnified so don’t judge it on the footage! It’s actually very good!

Hello mark I’m after a thermal add on because it will make my 17hmr and 243 without buying to thermal scopes(cheaper) I’ve seen you’ve used the pulsar kypton add on what would you recommend the pulsar or zeiss add on? (Got a zeiss scope) ? Cheers
@260rips2 жыл бұрын
I like the Zeiss as it’s nice and compact with a good support app so would go with that although it doesn’t record video. If that doesn’t worry you then I would go with the Ziess. Both pretty good to be fair

Hello Mark! Have you ever had a Blaser R93 or R8? If so, what was your opinion? And perhaps you might not like them, why not? Perfect piece of kit with extremely fast barrel swaps, extremely safe and accurate. Cheers!
@260rips2 жыл бұрын
I’ve never owned one but have used one and they are very good rifles, I just find the price on par with a custom rifle and I’m a sucker for custom rifles!
@Snurker2 жыл бұрын
@@260rips Great point! For the price of a Blaser you can get something custom ,and fit your every need and desire in a rifle.
@eduardocarvalho15472 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't touch the R93, a friend had one and after the rifle fire itself a couple of times when reloading he decided to sell it. The R8 I would buy, had the chance to test one at my gunsmith and it's an amazing rifle. From what he told me Blaser redesigned the radial lugs to add locking surface to the bolt and a few more security features. The only con is the price!

Hi Mark. What is the name of the ammo cheek-riser you used on the Mauser in this video? Looking for similar one, this one looks to be nice and soft on the top. All the ones I can find are not very well made, -and rough surface. Many thanks, nice video.

Thermal, Is that the farm dog or a fox? That's why I use thermal for spotting and night vision for shooting.
@260rips2 жыл бұрын
That used to be the case however thermal (inc this unit) has got much clearer and it is possible to Id quarry with thermal alone. Unfortunately this footage and how I recorded it did little to show how clear it actually is!

I'm not sure the footage through the Zeiss would sell many units ... I thought it was awful . I love your videos Mark but i wish you would say if something wasn't great rather than say everything your supplied is good
@TheNightVisionShow2 жыл бұрын
The pic quality is far better through the scope and less magnified so don’t judge it on the footage! It’s actually very good, the scope doesnt record footage, so mark is recording it with a camera stuck on the end, and does make this clear in the latter part of the video. He could have reviewed it without any footage (as it doesnt record footage) but people expect footage so you cant win it seems.
@260rips2 жыл бұрын
To be fair mate the vast majority of stuff these days actually is pretty good! The reason nothing is ever slated is because to do so would mean the end of products from that supplier! If something is crap I simply don’t review it and send it back - I certainly wouldn’t say something was good if it wasn’t, I’m a man of my word. The Zeiss is actually a very clear unit and as I tried to explain on the video my recording device didn’t do the unit any justice at all - it’s far better through the scope 👍
@sandeshkamble26445 ай бұрын
Is these thermal image taken by zeiss 3/38
@260rips5 ай бұрын
Only the footage with the crosshair, however this is a poor representation of the units performance as I was using a Nightvision rear add on to record what I was seeing through the scope which made it very bright and fuzzy. The one down side to the 3/38 is that it doesn’t record 😒
