I do have to say I'm impressed how easily it laid down for this experiment. I would've thought as thick as it was, that it wouldn't bend so easily....thanks again Sue. Great tutorial review

It was actually quite durable and it held the stones very well when placed on the vase. There was no dripping at all. 💕

From Seattle. Always enjoy your videos. I've tried your techniques a few times with good results. Mostly I'm a wood worker and most of my resin work is river tables, cribbage boards, etc.

Hi Sue. Thank you for all of your videos. I've learned so much from you. I have a questions about the Counter Culture DIY Resin you used for these bowls. The resin, was it the Medium Viscosity Artist Resin, Culture Cast Resin or Artist Resin. Thank you.

Sue these are absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for inspiring us and being so kind to share! I love one of the colors that you used in your pour. It was the third color, it looked like a very very light ocean blue/green? I was wondering if you could share the colors that you used for these gorgeous bowls? Thank you so much! Liz Cape Cod Mass 😊💙👍🏼

I love the sand in the bottom. I wanted you to add more! They really look like you petrified the ocean 🌊. I’be been having lockdown think. Have you ever used fibreglass cloth in your vases. My thinking is that it would be exceptionally durable, but you would use less resin because the fiberglass would add strength. What are your thoughts?
@SueFindlay4 жыл бұрын
Thank you 💕 No, I have never used fibreglass cloth, might be worth giving it a go :-)

Beautiful i have some casting resin can i use that for these thankyou
@SueFindlay4 жыл бұрын
Casting resin is a lot thinner than a coating resin, so your bowls may end up being quite flimsy. Plus, casting resin takes longer to cure when poured in a thin layer. It is designed more for pouring into moulds. So for that reason, I wouldn't recommend it. 💕

Does the resin ever get solid or is it always soft?
@SueFindlay4 жыл бұрын
This is hard, I am guessing that you are using Art Resin to create your bowls. I have heard Art Resin is a soft resin. You may need to try a different brand of resin. 💕

@@SueFindlay thank you. They looked different from your usual gems. Perhaps it is the white resin the threw me off. These bowls are amazing!

Try pouring resin on rough side of holographic window cling the resin takes on the holographic design..
