Is it good practice to ask suppliers for DDP shipping? My concern is that suppliers might over charge me on the total cost.

You can ask for both, DDP and FOB so you can calculate how much they are charging you for freight and get that compared to your own quotes. If getting DDP it also means the supplier is clearing the goods through customs for you, so best to ask them what HTS code they are using for customs clearance too just so you know they are using the correct codes :)

Have you tried calling? It seems like an outsourced 3rd party which is fine but get them new phone head sets. Sounds like I was talking to someone under water. I'd want to know if it was my company. Just trying to help as others may have a similar experience.
