Look at this doing research on your recommendation and I find your video on the product perfect. Thank you
@robjones74108 жыл бұрын
My family bought one for me last year. I have used it a couple times on the shore and what I have seen is that it works AWESOME in the water, but to preserve the battery life you need to dry off the contacts. Because the way it works is when the contacts come in contact with water it is activated. So when you reel it in it is still going to be wet from the residual water. I always have Q-tips in my box to dry it out =)

After buying the deeper and having it disconnect over Bluetooth many times, I may have to give this one a try soon. Thanks for the review!

Gene, I like this style of video. Pretty cool. Have you ever thought about doing a blooper video of mishaps on the water and what have you? I think that would be a pretty fun video. Thanks man. Love the vids as always.
@Flukemaster8 жыл бұрын
Because of the way that I have filmed myself for so many years there aren't many bloopers that get on film. Now that I have the camera in the back of the boat that runs most of the time I should start getting more though.
@jasonhardin68518 жыл бұрын
+Flukemaster understandable. Anyway, love the channel. Been with ya since about 15,000 subs. You're the main reason I got so into bass fishing so thank you sir. You are the man haha. Looking forward to the increase in video production. Keep doing what you do!

if your renting a fishing boat like a small aluminum 10hp or so, they don't come with fish finders. this unit would be great to drag behind you and get a feel for the bottom.

I have never used a fish finder before, it would be great if you could show us how to read the screen. For example, when you see a fish on the screen, where is it in relation to the T-pod? Is it directly under it? Left of it? Right of it? I guess I am not entirely sure how to read the information from a 2-dimensional standpoint.

I've been waiting for video(s) on this fishfinder. Hopefully I'll see 1 or 2 more videos that goes into depth of this sonar. I've read online that you can sync this with the navionics app. Another plus for this sonar.
@ThisLaoGuy8 жыл бұрын
you can't sync this with the navionics app. only the model that is mounted on your boat.

BUT does it work when not in motion? because a deeper fishfinder will, and I would like to be able to use of these guys for fishing under a lip float for catfish of while icefishing

I have the deeper and want your opinion what pros and cons are between this one and deeper. so if my cell signal is bad at that particular area as a bank fisherman this wouldn't work well?
@compcast8 жыл бұрын
I bought the deeper too and the problem is no service in the Everglades so wifi won't work either I like the arm band very useful
@dimesonhiseyes91348 жыл бұрын
+compcast Wi-Fi is not connected to your cell service. the soniphone creates its on Wi-Fi hotspot. you just have to connect your device to the Wi-Fi signal.
@Flukemaster8 жыл бұрын
It doesn't need a cell signal. The Wifi is just a signal from the unit to your phone. That's it. No data used at all. This one is just a lot easier to use and is more accurate in my opinion.
@vballbobsbricks70748 жыл бұрын

@Flukemaster8 жыл бұрын
I've had to replace one deeper already due to connection issues. The picture of it and the ibobber look like a video game and don't compare at all to a real fish finder.
@nathanaellingerfelt63148 жыл бұрын

@tonylloyd49178 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by it runs off wifi ? Do you have to connect it to wifi to use it or do you have to have wifi signal ?

No. It sends a signal to the wifi in your phone instead of bluetooth so you get a better quality signal. It doesn't use data or anything and you don't need a cell signal.
