The max weight for the basinet part of the pack n play is usually 15 pounds so id double check on that!

For any stains on baby stuff you can try sun bleaching it! Just get it wet and lay it out to dry in the sun. That way you don’t have to get rid of it 🙂

The pack n play bassinet attachment is usually only safe until 15 lbs - just a heads up! May need to double check and lower him so that cutie pie is safe!!

We struggled finding a toothpaste that my toddler actually likes. As of right now she only likes the Tom’s strawberry toothpaste. I usually buy it in multi packs on amazon

Question about Jackson’s naps: Do you put him down for his naps at set times or do you wait for his “sleep ques” like I read in articles. I get so confused if we’re supposed to put them down for naps even if they don’t appear tired 😓

Whether a storage space or Jackson's room, that space should not be available for Riley to take over. Everyone should have their own space. You'll have to let us know what these door knob covers are once you get them. They sound useful. By the way, tough luck that Riley's mad you took something away from her. You are the parent. She will not remember it later in the week let alone later in life. Your not disciplining her or not sticking with your limits, boundaries, consequences will be recalled in the form of how her personality, character turn out later in life. That everyone will have to live with then. Now is when you are teaching her and refining even her good behaviors already learned. Also, if Jackson gets his legs stuck under a bureau that is considerably lower than the furniture he is used to backing up under, he will learn not to do that because he will have to cry for you to come help get him out of it. He is unlikely to hurt himself, but he will learn a lesson. His development is moving so fast that he'll be crawling before he would have time to get stuck again. Are you getting to stay in a home, rather than a motel, while in NC? It's a family vacation property, is that right? That should be lovely, though hectic in a good way. I believe Goodwill and the Salvation Army and such are open again for donations. Riley needs to be in the main living area, her bedroom and that's pretty much it. She will have to get over it. It's not fair to other people in the home to not be able to have their own things unmolested. She has a few toys in the tub and on the fridge. So wonderful that you got those hand-me-downs from a relative for Jackson. Kids grow out of things so quickly that it isn't worth buying what you don't have to buy. The sad thing is, when you are the kid your parents must provide everything for you to survive. However, you must learn to fit in and adapt and do what they say. Your whole life will be doing as the teacher, scout leader, coach, pastor, professor, boss, nanny, tutor, employer, taxman, doctor, cop says. You will not be able to function in the adult world if you cannot behave, fit in, follow directions, play well with others, understand that very little is really your own show. When she gets her own home, she can people it with no one at all or whomever she chooses and make up her own rules and that will be her domain. Your job is to allow her to flourish in the real ways that relate to her talents and character while teaching her how to be properly socialized into the adult world she will have to function in and earn a living and follow the laws. That's a hard row to hoe, but requires your consistency, if little else. They are cute sandals. Are they comfortable? You'll want to check the weight limit on the Pack'n'Play if you are going to use it instead of Jackson's crib. He is over 6 months old and moving around a lot and not at all heavy, but a normal healthy baby size now. Jackson does have the excuse of teething as a reason for putting everything in his mouth. LOL. Poor thing. Teething has to hurt. Can you imagine your mouth feeling swollen and sore and hot with hard, pointy things breaking through your pink, soft gums all day and night? Let Riley whine. She's allowed to have a purple funk type of day. Ignore her whines. If she comes up to you and whines, tell her to use her words and speak in a normal voice to you and whatever she needs will be discussed or considered or negotiated. She will get the knack of it and learn how to speak up for herself in a manner that will get her heard and maybe get her what she wants. OMG, I laughed so hard. That giraffe pick looks like he's related to Eeyore! If they do not make Riley eat anything more or different, you will still be able to use those little sandwich cutters for her birthday parties for the next couple of years until school age, so that what you serve will be like luncheon, teatime sandwiches in the size of real finger food. They will get used. Seeing the kids exploring outdoors will be great. And it's so healthy for them.

My son HATES that burts bees toothpaste too. I tried it out to see like maybe it tastes weird..it tastes like bubblegum buttttt it expands like crazy when brushing like a tiny dot turned into MY entire mouth filled with toothpaste

Babyganics wipes gave my baby an allergic reaction.

In toothpaste check for fluoride, it is bad and dangerous ingredient. Also phenoxyethanol (not sure with spelling) (preservative) should be at the end of the ingredient list. No sulfates - foam generating product. Less foam - more natural. I checked Babyganics ingredients and did not like them. Although the package is very pretty.
