I loved that you take fittness serious. Some moms always ask me: "when do find time to exercise?" my answer is always: "make it a priority". And show up. Consistency beats intensity. 😊

I am just getting into my fitness journey as a single mom. Most days I have to trick myself into working out using pre-workout. Most days that is the only thing that gets me by lol. I am now working on a 5:15 am wake up to fit that workout in before online school. It is hard but you are correct. Make it a priority and get it done by any means.

I also get up early to workout (5:30). I just won't have the time later in the day to do it otherwise. I agree that it is hard going from sleep to grind in about 15 minutes! I am doing Beachbodys Barre Blend and it is harder than I thought. I am so sweaty afterwards but feel so good. Love your day in the life videos. Your home is lovely and I love that you burn candles to make it cozy🤗

I love watching videos like this. Thank you! Do you also have an evening routine video? I think, for me, having a good morning is dependent on what kind of evening/bedtime routine I have, and I've been slacking. I would love to see your evenings & what time you're in bed in order to get up so early. I am not a morning person but would love to be.

Been looking for content like this of a homeschool mama who finds time for devotions AND a hard workout in the morning! I've been struggling to get everything done I want to before we begin our school day. I do have a 19 month old and he often throws a wrench in my productively 😂💙 but he sweetly sleeps in until about 8, so I'm definitely in breakfast mode by that time and not working out. My girls have morning chores and get themselves ready. They've also been helping with breakfast and dishes. Yet somehow I never seem to get it all done before 9. What time did you begin your workout? I similarly workout for 45mins-1hr and finding time to shower and do my devotion are where I struggle. But those are my priorities, so I need to change something!:) Thanks for the awesome content!

Thank you for sharing your morning routine. Very timely. I am actually sitting down today to map out our daily routine and I'm wondering what you had your kids up to during your morning time (forgive me if you mentioned it in the video and I missed it). I'm assuming they focus on making and cleaning up their breakfast, getting dressed and brushed, and their own morning chores? I love how they were ready to meet you at the table at 9am. Do they have an alarm clock to get them up and or alert them to start time?

Black rifle is THE BEST! We use the Beyond Black. Had the subscription over a year. We are 7 days in w/using a chore n "flow" schedule & starting time, morning basket alternating science n history & virtues book plus God timeline, most all tgatb subjects...I read classics to them, they read odessey books to each other, Abeka readers for comp check-all while keeping a 1 year old-saving Math n LA for his 2 naps. Ty so much- it's been the happiest, most peaceful (all things considered lol)start in 4 years. I even use my planner and just document what we actually did and mark the weeks. All new to me-All. Your strategies work. I've copied so much. Complete game changer. I have a chronic illness too and the pace is fabulous. My body is happy. We even have time for bike rides and art/play/long lunch. Your impact is prob greater than you know. That's it-Just big thanks from our fam!

Love that you share your routine and always love seeing how other homeschoolers manage their days! I would recommend that you read the book ROAR by Stacy T. Sims! It’s about women and our body and working out and that we are not little men when it comes to working out and nutrition. I learned that my habit for many years of working out on an empty stomach first thing in the morning was wreaking havoc on my hormones. It’s a must read for moms who love to workout and have kids. Game changer!!!

I am like Katie...4 yo twins and a 6 yo. I do morning workouts sporadically but they MUST be started no later than 5:15ish if I want an actually bath and clean face and moisturized face and decent hair afterwards. My normal workout time is midday so 2ish and if I can’t get it in then its right before dinner 5/6ish. I tried once going all in at 5 and I was like whoa...I am too tired for this. Funny how I had no problem hitting the gym at 5 before lockdown. So strange.

We homeschooled the whole way, and my kids are in college now. This made me nostalgic. Enjoy the journey. The days are long, but the years are short. It is all worth it! My now adult kids are amazing, kind, wonderful hardworking people who love the Lord -- and their faith was strengthened rather than derailed during college because of the time we had to build our faith together as a family instead of rushing through. We spent time teaching the kids why we believe in Jesus, and love covers a multitude of sins. Bravo, momma! You will never regret it.

I'm so jealous of you morning people! I just can't do it! Part of my problem, too, is that if I get up my birds will hear me and start screaming to be uncovered and let out. They are so loud they'll wake the entire house up! And my kiddos really need to sleep in until about 8 or it makes for a bad day for everyone! Haha! So, I have to hide in my room until I'm ready for everyone to wake up. Of course, the spoiled feathered babies don't say a WORD when my husband gets up to leave for work. It's only if they hear ME that they start screaming. I guess I've done that to myself! 🙄😂
