I have some experience with planting. It seems like your recipe requires a lot of fertilizer. Depending on the germination rate of the finger millet I would be concerned that heavy fertilizing will feed existing weeds which will compete with finger millet for space and nutrients in the soil. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for sharing.

This you method is tedious and very difficult, in Nigeria we plant millet by direct sowing after some shallow holes are dug on a ridge, the same person that sows is the same that will burry the holes after sowing the see leaving enough space between each hole, and is yielding good result
