Obsidian would work if it worked across multiple devices using a cloud account and be free. I have a need to use it between OS X and Windows and Android. I also don't want to pay for it (cloud version of Obsidian). I do take notes a lot but I am already paying for various subscriptions and I don't want to pay for another one.

I delayed listening to this because I thought it would require me to watch like that apps podcast they did and now instead of listening at coffee shop I'm watching at 10 pm in my bed lol. Still enjoyed tho!
