Many English people normally start to eat Sunday dinner between 2pm and 3pm. London is much larger than New York but the buildings are lower and there are more open spaces. There are 4 parks in London that are larger than Central Park, the largest being 8 times the size of Central Park, this doesn't include Colne Valley which is only part inside London and is 18 times the size of Central Park.

So pleased you enjoyed London but if you ever get another chance to visit the U.K. for at least 2 weeks you must travel away from London because we have some fantastic sights for you to enjoy which would give you a better example of how lovely this country really is, plus the prices are far better than London. In terms of crowds London can be hugely overcrowded -imagine a larger population than NYC but with fewer highrises to inhabit and 50,000 protected buildings to dodge, plus massive areas dedicated to parkland -the greenest city of its size in the world (it technically counts as woodland as more than 40% is green space, creating 21% tree cover). If you read between the lines this means less than half the city's area hosts its population, with more in public areas -some districts hold daytime capacities of 600,000 per sq mile by day, falling to 3,000 by night, and other areas vice versa. Thus Brits and Londoners endure the smallest average housing in the West (smaller than even the Japanese enjoy), despite the 'low' density skewed by the parkland. Overall a city designed for 6.6 million Victorians -from street widths to tunnel / carriage sizes, from sewage capacity to height regulations -but now hosting 9.7 million and growing by over 100,000 a year.
