Fantastic review. I have just picked up this model of the Carnival after driving a Honda Odyssey for years. I have the Diesel and it is more economical than my daughter’s hatchback. The amount of cool features is insane. I am still a bit nervous parking it but the 360 degree camera is a godsend. Neat inclusion is the ability to switch the rear view mirror to feed from the rear camera, awesome if your view is blocked by people or luggage. Middle seat in the second row can be removed so you have a 7 seater with walk through to the 3rd row. Turning circle is sharp. Very happy with it so far, let’s see if all the gadgets keep working and if Kia honour the 7 year warranty without hassles.

Thank you for watching! Sad there’s less choice on the market like there used to be. But good to hear the Carnival works well for ya!

The Carnival is a fabulous people carrier. Foster Carers and children I worked with often owned Carnivals to carry the tribes of kids they care for and love. This new version looks incrementally better, that’s for sure. An excellent review explaining the functionality of the top grade vehicle. The diesel is surely the way to go. I drive a Tesla, but I still hold great respect for Kia Carnivals and would be happy to own one. A great and very thorough review. Thanks!

Are the Kia carnivals sold in Australia made in South Korea? How reliable do Australians consider them to be?

Should be made in South Korea, yes. Australians consider them to be very reliable tbh.

Recently, it was discovered that the Japanese Toyota Motor Group had been manipulating quality tests and deceiving consumers for the past 35 years. What was their punishment? Can you trust the Japanese?

Its because your minivan market is garbage. This is by far the nicest and largest MPV you have in Australia. In the U.S., the carnival has 3 close competitors that it struggles in sales against.

100% the minivan market is minuscule here. Would love to see some healthy competition reappear.

I disagree actually, it looks really cool

Couldn’t disagree more. Unlike Sorento, the Carnival looks way better as a facelift
