Kelsey Patrick honestly. Losing my grandma was the worst day of my life. I hated myself so much in the moment when I heard that she was gone. So much. Because the last time I went to her house, I barely talked to her at all. The last chance I had. To have a conversation with her. To talk to her about her stories. To ask for another one. To hug her. To tell her I love her. But all I did was go over, stay for about 30 mins and barely say anything and go home. And now she’s gone. And I can’t ever go back. The only thing I have left is a small book from her. Telling stories, writing poems. Talking about me and my mom for a large part of it.
