I'm in film school and I can confirm that her editing is fantastic. She doesn't have obnoxiously loud music. Her audio is nice and consistent. She doesn't do five billion unnecessary and distracting jump cuts. It's like a breath of freakin fresh air. Like, I've been forced to take many editing classes by professionals that have been in the business for decades and I can't edit for shit. So kudos to Jessica.

In response to the drunk elephant oil: facial oils have CHANGED MY LIFE. I swear it’s not an exaggeration. I have struggled with acne for years and I was student teaching with more acne than my students. The miracle was I noticed a difference the first time I used rose hip oil. I still have some zits and lots of scarring but in combo with medicated creams, my skin is clearing up so well! I can’t rave about it enough! I use Gothamista and Beauty Within as references. ❤️

i love the fresh rose hydration toner & can i just say about it, i had the same gross feeling especially because it’s been taking me an extremely long time to go through it... so what i did in the end, because i don’t like applying with a cotton round or the messiness of getting a watery liquid on my hands, that i took a spray bottle with a good mist, popped the top off the rose toner & poured it through a sieve to catch all the petals & now use it as an easy facial spritz throughout the day. feels so nice.

May I suggest using house slippers with your foot masks? With hardwood and tile floors, I feel like I may slip and fall with the foot mask “booties” on, and it helps you feel more secure when you are walking around the house. I have cheap moccasins from Payless that I wear.

On the toothpaste I totally feel your pain. What I did was use the 3D white at night and Sensodyne during the day. If I feel my teeth getting any kind of sensitive then I just stop the 3D white for a few days. Best of both worlds!

For the Fresh Toner, maybe try using a sifter to get the rose petals out and transfer what’s left back into the bottle? That way you don’t have to throw out all that liquid!

I know this might seem a little odd but actually my favorite and only toner is just straight-up witch hazel. It's natural very gentle and I love it works great for what a toner supposed to do. Not expensive, rarely available, I think it works. I discovered it years and years ago from another KZbinr. I don't even know if she still makes KZbin videos or not. Fair warning it does have an odd smell but after a while I grew to the almost fond of it if not used to it. Just wanted to throw that out there in case somebody sees this.

You need to try the NYX vinyl liquid liner. Lasts ages and the formula is the best one yet, doesn't bleed at all. It's a thin brush but it's so easy to use, better than a pen. Also, it stays on so well on the eyes and it is easy to take off at night. My tubes tend to last about 3-4 months and they're so affordable. If you prefer a matte eyeliner they have the same formula in a matte version. They are the best liquid liners ever and I've tried loads. Been doing a winged eyeliner for about 4 years now every day and they're the best ones I have found in terms of formula and price point. 😚 Love your videos xxx

Regarding the Drunk Elephant Vitamin C, I watched a video from Gothamista a whole back where she contacted the company regarding the colour and was informed that one of the ingredients (not the Vitamin C) naturally tints it yellow. So even with a fresh batch, it will have a yellow tinge that is not related to oxidation. Having said that. When it turns a deep carrot yellow... That is definitely oxidation

As you don't like the smell of the Elemis balm, did you know that they now have it in rose - pink packaging? Just a thought so you could still keep using it. With regards to foot masques, I use them a lot as I have to wear toe tekkers (safety) boots for work so I give my feet a lot more love than I used to and after putting the "bootie" on, I sling on a pair of slipper socks so I can walk around safely and also I think it helps the product work better!
