Nice to hear you like Brittanys videos too Emily. You and Brittany are my favourite KZbinrs! Loved seeing baby Jackson in the video of even just for a second. They grow so fast! I started watching you when pregnant with my son and he’s 2 and a half now 🤯😭

Great video! I learned some new tricks. I would like To share that just like on the bubble bath, it applies also to frothed coffee. As long as you don’t leave your coffee sticks or teaspoons in the coffee cup, the froth will make your coffee stay hot longer, as the froth will trap the steam or heat to come out. 🥰🥰

My father used to smoke an old fashioned pipe many years ago when he was a farmer. Pipe cleaners are, in fact, to use on pipes, they go through the mouth piece & out the other side to clean the tobacco out :) I knew the majority of these, I didn’t know the tic tac one, that was interesting.

Loved this!! And yes mind blown!! Did not know 99% of these hacks! So excited to try them for myself. The one hack that I did already know it was about the nut butters. I store them in my cupboard before being used upside down and that makes for it easy to be mixed went first opening, but once I put them in the fridge after being opened I don’t store them upside down any longer. I will have to see if that’s worth doing or not! If your frayed of the oil spilling you may want to just try storing it upside down prior to first to use. Love your channel and I love these hacks!

I'm not feeling the nut butter one... You will end up with the nut butter stuck to the lid and it being messy when you take the lid off... Also like you said the oil could well leak out. Not convinced at all by that one...

Stand the jar on a small lid or plate or coffee filter that is slightly larger than the jar. It will hold any oily seepage . I save and wash plastic lids from other containers for things like that

Hi Emily, you should use reusable silicone baking sheets for oven trays! Aluminium foil is wasteful and bad for the environment, even if you reuse it a few times. If anyone hasn't suggested it already, you should try them! There's some good ones on amazon! You can get different sizes! And please try some reusable cloths instead of plastic soft sponges and buy reusable, eco friendly wooden dish brushes etc, because a lot of the stuff you buy is disposable and bad for the environment. We need to be thinking of the years to come & the state that the environment will be in, by the time our children reach adults.. If a lot of us carry on buying & not considering our choices, then we won't have anywhere to throw "away" our rubbish, because there won't be an away anymore. The ground is filling up & if you really research where all our waste ends up, even recycling, you would be surprised! Plastic is being burnt to get rid of it in some places, and it causes major pollution. Look up zero waste! Some people produce next to nothing rubbish from what they do day to day, in a month or even a year! I really appreciate your cleaning videos and all your hacks, I just thought I'd point out that you could choose to be more sustainable with your choices of cleaning products! I know you just want easy stuff as a mum though. I get it. I'm a mum too, but I'm trying to consider the future and the world that my son will grow up in. Every one of us can do our bit to help. Thank you 😊 I hope you consider some of what I suggested, sending you love!!! 💜 I posted this on one of your other videos, and I just watched this one too, and I thought I'd post it here too because you mention foil in this video. And I wanted to suggest looking up zero waste toothpaste in a jar or making it yourself with bicarbonate of soda and charcoal etc, because you buy it in a plastic disposable tube, like most people. But we can buy it in reusable packaging, like jars, or make it ourselves. Oh and also, aluminium foil used for cooking is linked to causing cancer and health problems. Look up "PFOA free" pans as well, a lot of non stick pans can be cancer causing and be bad for our health!! Do some research. I'm just trying to share information and help, cos I know I didn't use to know these things and since I found out, I got rid of all the things I cooked with, which I found out can be harmful! I just thought I'd share with you, and for other people's benefit too, cos most people don't know these things! Thanks for reading if you did. I hope you consider what I said and find it helpful, and I hope others do too! Sending you love!! 😊

The only one I hadn't heard before is that bubbles insulate the bath water. Maybe it's an age thing, I'm in my late 50s, in that the older we get the more we learn about these sorts of things? Oh BTW you do realise a pipe cleaner is to clean a smoking pipe, right? Just with you saying how small the pipe must be, all pipes have small necks, or whatever the bit they put in their mouths is called. x

Another use of a straw is, if you have a necklace where the chain always manages to get a knot in when it’s been stored away, if you thread one end of the chain through a straw and fasten the clasp when you come to wear it it will always be knot free x
@jessriffel4 жыл бұрын
For the but butter you need to keep it upside down before you open it. First time you open it you stir it and then when you pop it in the fridge you don’t need to keep it upside down anymore because the fridge keeps it firmer so it won’t separate anymore.

Thanks lovely lady for the awesome hacks 😘 some of them I wouldn’t do, such as the natural nut butter hack because I can just see one of my girls getting that stuff *everywhere* and it’s not the best to clean up 🙄 and I agree that they should change the container and perhaps create it like a squeeze sauce bottle where it’s designed upside down.
