Blade Nzimande has been a member of the ANC NEC since 1994, but he only knew Guptas when it was Zuma's term, but most of us who were not even there, knows that Guptas were always around the ANC since Mandela's tenure! Here Mbeki was fascinated for meeting the Gupta mother for the first time, but Blade was in comma unfortunately: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJumZKGZiZaUfMksi=6XT4BvBTGX8f-t1z
Any politician who still speaks of state capture and refer to the Guptas is definitely a sellout and a lie and I’m glad most South Africans are now aware of this propaganda.
@MKBSpambo11 күн бұрын

I listened to Nzimande and I disagree with his assessment of the MKP. The MK was disbanded and there was no importance attached to it until JZ used the name for his party. At least JZ served as MK in his career and Nzimande did not. Zuma is not a saint at all, and I believe many of the MKP members will agree but some of us support him because he is exclusive attacked for his mistakes and reported on endlessly while others manage to have their political scandals ignored. The MKP is going away even after JZ - he has started something we can look up to and call these leaders to order with. We have contributed in getting the ANC from its outright majority, albeit fulfilling Ramaphosa's mandate on that. Lastly, I think Nzimande is either outright wrong on Ramaphosa or he's just saving his job. At the end of the day all politicians self-preserve and many of them have determined that the shorted route to that is joining the anti-JZ chorus and the real enemy is thrilled.

But Blade betrayed the people of KwaDambuza. Fortunately, I know the place because I come from the same place. Like many other senior ANC leaders especially from the EC. I find it difficult that as a high profile within the ANC he never met Harry Gwala such a prominent in the late 80s and early 90s says a lot about him. I agree with the person who said, Adv Sikhakhane was talking about people like him. For me he self centered and he's not in it for the people. I might be wrong but that's what I've observed. I even helped in his yearly event yesterday eXmas which was coined as giving the elderly Xmas gift. But at a back of it was more around his personal profiling in my view.

Many of these pple and their parents supported the apartheid regime, while others chose to endure its harshness. The women who worked for the apartheid government sent our grandmothers to be used as test subjects by the likes of Wouter Basson, who infected our grandmothers with diseas leading to infections and many never being able to have children. Ramaphosa's father was a police officer for the white government, the same government that oppressed our people. It is no surprise that the children of these apartheid apoligists are now in power. These pple, who now call themselves as icons of the struggle, actually had better lives than many black families in our townships like Mashu and Soweto. Another notable point is that most of these pple come from the farms abomkhaya referred to in our communities as izinyoni. We do not see those who suffered in the burning townships of the 70s represented in parliament. Instead, we see these izinyoni zoklova, the sellouts, in their place.

Blade Nzimande is an amazing storyteller, my word. I might not agree with him in many respects but my word, I enjoyed this.

His conversation follows haphazard events of the past and touches on issues irrelevant to today’s politics. It would have been refreshing to hear him speak of the solutions to our current political dilemma!

Hi Sizwe, is it possible that you can identify the phd's and have them there so that we can learn from them, wherever they might be. Let them inspire our youth especially the black majority

You should take these guest interviews on the road to a live audience recording event (maybe even audience Q&A at the end). We'd pay top dollar to attend!

Mr. Nzimande wanted to be consulted. Clearly would have opposed. The gains made during the fees must fall would not have been achieved even now.

I have heard some people critique Sizwe for not interrogating his guests. I think it must not change its style. Its a laid back interview where people tell their truth. Let us not be a 3rd degree because already radio does that. We want people to tell us their views and stories.

I’ve been a big fan of your work Sizwe, from day 1. Just a friendly suggestion, kindly probe more on big revelations that your guests make. For example, the alleged CIA agents within the ANC, who was in the list? /Are they still playing prominent roles in SA politics today?…and on ZUMA, the guest was willing to expand more but that segment was cut short. I know it’s easier for me as a viewer to see these gaps,your job might be harder than it looks…but I believe improving on this aspect would help this channel that we love very much to ascend to even greater heights. Ayeye!
