Ed got crypto call wrong. It was a banker style hedge fund gambler model gone wrong in a wave of bear market losses and leveraged outs. BTC is still fine, DeFi is still fine, Ada is still fine, Eth is still fine, literally nothing changed!!!!!!!

Target Shrink $$: My friend worked for a guy that would buy semi-full after sei-full of deep discounted Target trailers; pennies on the dollar sometimes, and he'd sell it at his stores for cheap. $40 at Target, $10 or less there. Do you think that the 36% to 14% drop in inventory and the #3 reasoning for poor performance was Shoplifting aka Shrink be correlated? Follow-up: Does the increase in Walmart's $100K+ households come from the same areas? Meaning: did increases in salaries from its core customers account for the income shift? I know my income has increased because of the economy (sales)

@@chiefenumclaw7960 The attitude is the reflection of reality. It is stuff in a store. It is not stuff inside your house. It is not a threat to any child. Consider if your child was with you while the mass robbery took place, are you going to play hero and try and stop the group, and risk your kids? I think the answer there is, of course not. A red-herring, I know. But we have to put ourselves in the situation to determine what is truly valuable. The thieves do not need me to opine to be emboldened, the economy is providing all they need by itself.

I am sure there are other listeners here also wondering why Dollar Shave Club was not a successful business model. You know you use a razor blade once every 2 weeks. You want it delivered to your house. You want to pay much less than Gillette for acceptable enough quality.
