Dr.Gali Vinod Kumar born in the year 1970 at Manmoor village, Warangal District,
Obtained B.A.LL.B, from Osmania University, CLISc., M.A.,LL.M, Ph.D., from Kakatiya
University Warangal and PGDHR from University of Hyderabad. Vidwan from Hindi
Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad. First Class in LL.M Human Right Law, First Dalit in India
who qualified UGC - NET in “Human Rights and Duties in 2002. Secured Ph.D.Degree on
Human Rights Violation in Telangana Region - A Socio - Legal Study and the Problems of
Dalits” in 2008. He was participated in the UN World Conference against Racism and
Racial Disrimination held at Durban City, South Africa in 2001. He also participated in
South Asian Teaching Session on Humanitarian law, Refugee law and Human Rights Law
conducted by National Law University of Bangalore, and International Committee on Red
Cross Society in 2001. He participated in number of National and International Seminars
and submitted Research Papers. He is a regular Columnist in Andhra Prabha telugu Daily.
He also contributed number of Articles in Telugu Dailies regarding the Socio - Legal and
Political issues of the society. He was Awarded Dr.B.R.Ambedkar National Fellowship
Award-2001 by Bharateeya Dalita Saahity Academy, New Delhi.
He awarded Rastriya Ratna Shiromani National Award-2003 by Modern Indian
Interaction Society, New Delhi. Dalit Ratna Award-2009 by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh,
Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Birth Day Celebrations Committee. He also awarded as Best Citizen of
India-2011.Presently he is working as Vice-Principal and Director, LLB 5(YDC) in
P.G.C.L.,O.U.He taught various Law subjects for 3 YDC and 5YDC students.Now he is
teaching Constitutional Law for LL.M and LL.B students.He worked as Librarian in Zilla
Grandhalaya Samstha, Warangal during the year from 1993 to 2004. He joined as an
Assistant Professor in University College of Law, Osmania University in 2004, worked as
NSS Programme Officer in Law College and worked as E1- Hostel Mess Warden from 2005
to 2007. He is working as Sr.Assistant Professor in P.G.Collge of Law, Basheerbagh, since
2007. He attended as Resource Person for various Seminars and Symposia in various
Universities. His area of interest is Human Rights and Human Values. He is a member of
Indian Society on International Law, New Delhi and a member of All India Law Teachers
