I'm having more and more problems with Mearsheimer since I've realized that the principle of American exceptionalism to him is a given that cannot be questioned or challenged. He also reasons that Russia and China are culturally inclined to act in the same manner as America would which is a huge fundamental misrepresentation. American capitalist aggression is not a trait that automatically transplants over to other cultures/countries. It is too short sighted and fundamentally misgiven.
