प्राध्यापक झा महोदयाय नमस्कारा: । Is the goal of this Intro session is to: 1. Generate the interest in pure science community on Nyaya the be used as a tool to know the truth or behaviour of nature or its padarthas thus generate more interest in the community which may open a subject to be taught in these modern institutions? Or 2. Give an overview of logic / analogy as applied or interpreted inferred and utilised by Buddhist - Charuvakas / Advaitins / Vaisheshikas etc to pure science community like IISc Or 3. Intro as an evolution of Navya Nyaya from Prachina Nyaya and its possibilities in NLP for further exploration?

As recommended by Prof Jha, natural language processing based on Navya Nyaya precise language coding should be done.

May I ask a respectful question about the idea at 30:54: "Each sentence is an encoded thought?" Before the coding, how did the thought exist? As a non-verbal entity of some unknown sort ? If yes, then how does the speaker translate that thought into language ? Or does thought exist as a series of pictures? Or as a memory in a pre-verbal stage with the potential to emerge as language ? In modern terms, the thought is a potential in the neurons to get active. I tend to believe in the VaiyyAkaraNa idea that thought is basically thoroughly verbal although it might not have sequence and parts (niravayava-kRama) in the PaSyanti stage. Then due to the activity of PRANa, PaSyanti emerges as MaddhyamA where it is both sAvayava and sakRama, and then is expressed by the speaker and heard by the listener as Vaikharee with words, syntax, intonation, etc. That is why I am curious about the NaiyyAyika position. Thanks for any clarification.
