Just one more question: is it possible to reheat the remaining pouring fondant and use it again? Thanky a lot for your kind attention!
@nabilakhalig3 жыл бұрын
Well you don't need to heat it,just put the remaining fondant in closed tupperwear or whatever that similiar,and everytime you wanna use it,just add a little bit of water,and mix it.
@parisereck3 жыл бұрын
Thamk you!@@nabilakhalig
@fionaclaphamhoward58763 жыл бұрын
I'm sure that would be possible but the recipe talks about the temperature being quite specific for a good pouring consistency. I think you would need to reheat it to the specified temperature range for a good pouring result.

Thank you very much for your attention!
@vickie53943 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can reheat it gently several times. If you overheat, it will lose its gloss.

These petit fours are so pretty! I would prefer that the liquid fondant cover so that you can't see the cake... Do they dry more opaque or should I give a second coat before decorating? I Love, love, love your videos
@azuregiant92583 жыл бұрын
It was as though the video got cut off at the end. How the petit fours dry is exactly what I want to know too. It would be really useful information. The thumbnail image was different to the final result at the end of the video

Any advise would be appreciated. The Mazipan was yummy and the fondant came our beautiful. Thank you for the you tubes to help me when I don't get the details down by reading. They are so helpful! Anna!!! 😮 what a beautiful recipe this is what I do about the marzipan even for my FRUIT CAKE 🍰 👏🏻👏🏻👌👌👌
I absolutely love marzipan. So sweet and easy to use. Here in Norway marzipan is very popular around Christams and easter. For Christmas we will make little pigs and for easter we will make eggs with or without chocolate. Most norwagians don't like fondant to decorate cakes with. We like to use marzipan. And we will call the cake just marzipan cake. My husband absolutely love marzipan cake.

These look lovely and delicious. Could the first layer of the pour over fondant be left to set and then another layer be poured over that? Not so much for a flavor kick, but more for a thicker visual look to the petit fours. What is the best way to store these, and for how long? Thank you for this recipe and your excellent demonstration. 💝

Is there a way to make the pourable fondant less translucent... and more of a solid consistency?
@CVenza4 жыл бұрын
Can someone please explain how to make or where to buy cake and pastry flour? At 1:50 Anna instructs to use cake and pastry flour but, where I am from the stores tell me it is one or the other. I have contacted Sur La Table and Williams Sonoma customer service to see if they know of "cake & pastry" per se; and they claim to have cake flour or pastry flour individually and know of none that are combined.
@tareka84884 жыл бұрын
You can make cake and pastry flour by coming equal parts of both types together, this is pretty unnecessary because the idea is that they are both low protein flours that give a soft texture and nice crumb to desserts, so you can use either one. (I prefer cake flour though)
@Earthgal0634 жыл бұрын
C. Venza I had to go in search myself bc I’d never heard of a product that had both combined. And this is gluten free so it will be ultra light, I like that. Here’s where I found a link to order if u like 😊 www.glutenfreeheaven.com/collections/flour-blends

You make this look so simple. I am anxious to try to make petit fours and I'm researching many recipes before I attempt them. I was wondering if this recipe tastes as nice as they look? I have always heard that fondant does not have a pleasing taste unless you use the marshmallow recipe. I've had that and it is tasty. But what about the pouring fondant? Is it tasty?
@MarvelousNysa3 жыл бұрын
If you're nervous about the taste of the fondant, you could also try marshmallow fondant! You can make it by heating marshmallows and then adding to the melted marshmallows ( I forget all the steps but I found tutorials here on youtube). It tastes pretty good and you don't need glycerin or agar. Admittedly it's a bit messy but pretty tasty
