Nice tutorial, thank you. It's easy to try and apply more pressure in order to get more sound, when just the opposite produces the desired result. What great teachers these instruments are. Cheers!

The sound of this gong is so rich...is that possible to obtain those different notes also on a Chao gong, those from Wuhan to be precise?

This is an incredible gong in-person, but you can find Chau gongs that are similar sounds. Every gong is unique though, so really great to go shopping with your flumies.
