I plan to rebuild my miter station and have been surfing for ideas. I like the way you are doing this. You asked for suggestions and the only thing I would have done different is made my toe kick out of construction grade lumber (probably pressure treated. And attach it to the shop floor perfectly level and co-planer with each cabinet. Then simply sit the cabinets on it. Everything is level, square and plum.

Thank you! I really like that idea, I've had to shim it a few times since building it and I think your method would have eliminated it completely.

Why not level the bases/toe kicks first and then attach each cabinet carcass?

Mostly because I didn’t have much cabinet building experience at the time lol I think that’s likely what I would do today if I were to make it again

Wood Whisperer has a good video on his channel that covers construction and installation of cabinets. You’ve probably learned most of it by experience now though. Lol!! Love how you’ve made the most of a relatively small shop. I’m jealous.

Great job! Interesting way to do the toe kick frame attachment, I’ve never seen that before. Seems to me like it makes life easier for replacing if the need arises. 🤗

Thanks! It seemed liked the easiest method at the time lol

Built my entire kitchen that way and it is such an efficient way to level and install cabinets
